Can banked points be transferred? Also when making a reservation do you used the banked points first and then your current year points? Anything else I should know about banked points? Thanks

No, banked points cannot be transfered. Regular points that are transferred can then be banked. You must bank no later than end of 8th month of use year (and when counting include use year month, e.g., for December use year, July is the last (eighth) month you can bank).

Practice of MS is to use banked points first for a reservation before using others. Nevertheless, mistakes can be made so you should always mention that you want the banked points used first.

No banked points may not be transferred; but transferred points can be banked but they will keep their same Home Resort designation and Use Year (month).

MS will use your banked points first when making a reservation, then Current Use Year points and if necessary, borrow from next UY's allotment but you should always verify with them before hanging up phone exactly what points they did in fact commit to your reservation.
