Hi everyone! I am very experienced with WDW but I have never been to Hawaii! We are very excited and are using points to stay in a one bedroom ocean view villa the last week of May. I have been researching like crazy but still have been unable to figure out if Aulani offers an excursion to Pearl Harbor or not. I realize it will be cheaper to go stand in line early in the morning and do it on our own and I do plan to rent a car but I just want to explore all of the options. DS,20, is not an early riser. If we can book tours a little later in the morning it makes our entire day more pleasurable. LOL!

Hi Nola, I am with you on that one!! My daughter and I are arriving on the 31st of May through the 7th of June. I have done some research and Aulani does offer an excursion to Pearl Harbor but I found a deal on Viator so I decided to go that route. Also, if you are looking for a great show "Ha" at the Polynesian Cultural Center seems to be the one everyone is raving about. We have plans to go Horseback Riding, Underwater Scooter Riding, a Luau, Pearl Harbor with a trip to the Dole Plantation, "Ha" and somewhere in there a trip to the Spa because I am going to be sore! :) LOL! Just doing my research so that I can start purchasing the packages. :)

Aulani does provide tours to Pearl Harbor, USS Missouri and Punchbowl National Cemetery. My DSIL and family did this tour and they really enjoyed it. It is much more expensive than to book a time directly with the US Government website http://www.recreation.gov/showPage....arbor/home.jsp&contractCode=NRSO&parkId=72369 which is the method we chose, since we had our own car. The only problem with coming later, is that the parking is limited at Pearl Harbor so you need to get there at least 30 minutes before you scheduled time to ensure you find parking.

You absolutely do not need to wait in line. Just book your tickets through the link that was provided in the reply above. It's unnecessary to pay the expensive of the excursion when you can really go for free, in my opinion. Also, if you're looking for things to do on the island and for deals, sign up for Groupon and choose Honolulu as your city. You will find AMAZING deals there on food and excursions!

Just an FYI - Either way you do PH, you need to get there early. The Aulani excursions leave about 6:30 am, and it is advised to be there when the gates open at 7am if you are planning on going standby or want to find parking close by.

Consider going on one of your first days on the Island. Your daughter will get to sleep until lunch and still get to Pearl Harbor early due to the time difference. I also have a 20 year old and she loves the first few days. She gets the best of both worlds. Book your tix online and drive yourself. It's a great trip. I agree on PCC. We went three years ago and my DD and DS want to go back this trip. We are also going to try the ziplining at Climbworks Zipline on the North Shore. Great reviews.

Ok, went to the site above, but where to book the tickets for $1.50 service fee?
