New Teen beach?

Any reports from CCay yet on the new teen beach being built next to Serenity Bay?

I was there last week and did not see any signs of a teen beach. It looked like there were piles of sand dunes near the adult beach, past the bar and before the crew beach. I didn't ask anyone but, as of last Friday, it did not look like there were attempts to create a new "Disney beach" or to update the dining area/restroom.

Good news. Let's hope DCL came to their senses and realized it was a bad idea to locate a noisy teen beach at that end of the island. That and the accompanying logistics issues with the adult barbecue area, restrooms and bar being made available to the under 18 crowd...

The area looked just the same when I was there 3 1/2 weeks ago, so whatever they're working on it doesn't seem like they are in much of a hurry to finish it!

I was there yesterday. I saw no construction of anything. I didn't even see the sand piles, or at least, they weren't large enough for me to notice.

I just read the thread above, since this was the first I had heard of anything like this. The Venn diagram of Teens and Serenity made me spit out my drink! Too funny. I wouldn't welcome a teen beach so close to Serenity Bay. It was so beautiful and peaceful, I took the last tram back! I guess we will see, but there was nothing yesterday that indicated any kind of construction.

It could be enough people raised cane and DCL decided to go in another direction!......I surely hope so!
