Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis . I saw these at Target yesterday for $1.89 so I thought I would try them. I got the molten lava cake. You add a tablespoon of water, stir, microwave for 30 seconds, NUMMY. They are kind of like Easy Bake Oven's for grown-ups :lmao:.

....new??? Where have YOU been???

These seemed like a good idea, but not so much in my house. I have 2 teenage boys who each could easily toss back 5 of these in a day. Or a sitting. Too expensive for that! I have to bake a big fat batch of brownies and then hide them from myself.

These ARE great if you're trying to portion-control for yourself and you don't have a houseful of hungry gluttons stalking the pantry.

They are tasty... but full of bad things (chemicals, fake sweeteners, science experiment junk, etc.) We put them out to pasture and gave them up a few months ago, but we used to eat them (or their larger counterparts) pretty often. They've been out for years.

You haven't seen them before?

I bought them when they were on sale a year or two ago, and they are good but I think they're pretty expensive for what little you get. And loaded with too much junk that isn't good for me so I haven't bought any in a long time.

I did make rhubarb muffins this afternoon though, with fresh rhubarb out of my yard. :)

Sans ice cream they are only 150 calories :thumbsup2

Yesterday was the first time I have ever seen them in the stores. Maybe they have been around for a while but often companies will only send products to limited areas to test them out before they release them nationwide. I am sure there are a lot of things on the grocery store shelves here that you can't get that we have had for a long time too.

They're sinful I tell you :woohoo:! Yummy but pricey, we've only splurged a couple time when they've been on sale. :goodvibes

I saw those yesterday at Target also. I wanted to buy some, but my kid was with me and he knows that I have been trying to drop a few pounds. I didn't want a lecture from him, so I passed it by. I'll go back and get some when he is in school and will hide them when I get home so that I do not have to share with him.

You need the five-minute mug cake or brownie. Still horrible for you (full of sugar/fat), but there are no chemicals, fake sweeteners, or science experiments.

Grab a big mug.

Add:
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
dash of salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1/3 teaspoon vanilla
small handful of chocolate chips (optional)

Stir well. Easiest to mix up the dry ingredients and then add the wet ones. Mix well - it is easy to leave a clump of dry ingredients at the bottom.

Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes (it will still be soft/gooey)

Cool for a minute.

EAT

If you get your Sunday papers, look for the $0.75 coupons. I have a bunch of the coupons, but so far, I've never bought them. One grocery store will double it to $1.50, and I've still not tried them. This past week, the grocery store even gave $1.00 Catalina back if you bought 2. This made them 2 for free, but I still didn't buy them!!! Or should I say, I didn't take them home free!

It's the last thing I need! :lmao:
