hot, i think not :( gonna try to hold out for a ding or a lower rate.

well we just wanted to get a flight in and my flight was only $99 each way not too bad would love a ding price !....however will watch for a ding]
last year we rec'd a 50% credit from the regular price to the ding price which we used this past february. plus with
a party of 8 we really needed to book now.:thumbsup2

Step 1 -book 7 tix for the return portion of our trip

Step 2 - Sign of relief that you got the 7 tix at the lowest price (right now) and for the time you wanted

Step 3 - realize that you can't relax because now you have to watch for a DING!

Rates from Cleveland are not good at all for our dates. For $24 per ticket I can fly Continental, have an assigned seat and have my luggage checked at the hotel - not rocket science here which way to go. I am going to hold out for a Ding Fare for a month or so, then I'll have to bite the bullet somewhere.

I feel your pain lol:rotfl2:

Count me in as another person waiting. I am not going to shell out almost $900 for airfare. I know you can get a credit but I am not sure if we will travel within the credit plus I do not want to pay $900 at this point in time.

We are still waiting too. $158.00 each way is not a good price at all. We need 15 tickets for our family so we will be waiting on a better price to come out soon. Traveling in August!!

Waiting here too. I got $99 one way from Providence to Vegas for May so I'm a little spoiled now. I definitely don't want to pay $158 one way to Disney. I'm looking at other sites on booking buddy and most are cheaper for round trip but the times are horrible. I'm either up at the crack of dawn on the way down and back or getting there and home too late. :sad2: I'm so not happy.

That's me :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Another RI'er here. If these are Hot prices, I think we'll wait till they cool off. Actually, they are no better than any other airline right now. We'll have to wait for a ding.

ok- so I see that the printed res dates have changed, but they have not changed on the calander- It is still only going to August. Has anyone else had this problem??

I booked (from Chicago), but I'm not thrilled with the fare. However, the only cheaper option is AirTran and they don't have a non-stop return trip at the time I want. And AirTran charges $60 a ticket for changes and I'm always changing. So, I'm taking what I can get and hoping for a credit later. I had a reward, but it cost me the same price for two tickets as I would have paid for 3 AirTran tickets. I'm sure I'll use the credit within a year though, so I'll just watch for Dings.

Booked my flight to MCO for $129 one way. My return date is not available yet - 11/4.

Not thrilled with the price, but kinda excited that I at least know how I am getting there - makes it seem more real!

$168 one-way! Usually when the rates come out they're around $60. I'll be waiting for a DING or the rates to go down before I book.

I've been waiting all morning for DING to tell me that the new dates were out, but no DING. Tried the website, but it kept saying August until I used the top link instead of the one on the right. Way to go Southwest - I would have been pissed off if the rates had actually been good and I had missed getting a flight because your website isn't working properly.

Ok I figured it out!! $158 one way- you have got to be kidding!! Does anyone know how long it usually takes for SW to start dropping rates???

WOW I am glad I just booked my trip form chicago to orlando NON stop for 204.00 ( that includes tax) .:goodvibes I am going at Christmas time on top of it I see the price before thanksgiving is 129 for 1 way.

Hope those fares drop for you more then they have so far!:thumbsup2

I'm actually thinking of booking at today's price (a bit higher than expected) but our other airlines options all seem to be around the same price - but either at really lousy times or with stops along the way.
If I purchase tickets at the "Internet Rate" and they go down in price do I get a credit for the difference? Do I call when I see the price drop? Is there a charge for the change?
New SW traveller here - all suggestions appreciated!!
