Have you been on the ride yourself, or do you "no basis for [your] opinion"?
Yes, it is. If you've really read all those posts, you'd know that. Its only the moron comment that he admits is "speculation". The anger and bitterness, as you interpret it, comes from a lot of observations and research into the way the company has changed. That has resulted in certain opinions about Disney's management. The moron comment is obviously hyperbole, but the opinions were not developed from anger and bitterness, the anger and bitterness is a result of the opinions on what Disney management has done to the company.
But of course you know that since you read all those posts about how he has reached his conclusions.
Last time I was at Monterey Bay, Kids could no0t get over the excitment of the various exhibits, facinated by marine life and the complex ecosystems. Delighting in the Seaotter exhibit and so forth. And yet, not a popular animated character rehashing a movie plot anywhere to be found. How did they do it?
I have not read all 3215 posts but I have read enough. You are correct that I interpret (and correctly so I believe) anger and bitterness, and therefore, I do not find his posts all that credible as I find no objectivity in them at all.
You can only draw this conclusion if you and he are operating with exactly the same amount of data. I would suggest that you don't have as much data as others and therefore you can't judge how much objectivity is in his posts.
And that's exactly my point with the 'Nemo' ride. It does not introduce a child to anything new. It's nothing but a storybook rehash of the movie. It introduces no reality, it introduces no education, it certainly doesn't introduce "marine biology".I will stand by my post that if something introduces a child to something new (such as marine biology)
actually we are discussing you and how you have no credibilty
Of course, Monterrey Bay is considered the best aquarium in the country and probably the world...

Disney had a fantasic opportunity to take a child from the film world of 'Nemo' into the real world. A chance to show a child that the world around them is even more interesting, more exiciting than the world presented in a movie.
Disney choose not to. Disney choose to present a commerical instead of an Epcot quality attraction.Having been on the EPCOT ride, IMHO, it is also a "storybook rehash" as well. Yes, you have an aquarium of real fish, but they are ignored. Nothing educational about the type of fish, where they are found, here are the fish that Nemo, Dory, etc. are based on. It is a B grade attraction, worth one trip around the track then forget. Another lost opportunity.
Now the DAK Nemo show is another "storybook rehash", but a quality one and worth more than one viewing.
We will wait and see about the DL subs (although based on the current problem, the wait may be a long one)

I've been to the Monterey Bay acquarium twice. It's really great and as I walked around I wondered why didn't Disney do this? I'll bet they could have done better if they'd try.
So a life-long customer and fan educates himself on the history and direction of the company, doesn't like what he learns about the direction and if this angers this customer/fan, they have no credibility?
It's so much easier for Disney to pay plants on the Internet to lower expectations than it is to build first-class attractions, isn't it.That would be difficult as Monterrey is considered the best of the aquariums.
That would be difficult as Monterrey is considered the best of the aquariums. Disney has built a good exhibit though.
Is that why Disney's animal exhibits over at AK are so far below what is done elsewhere? That would be difficult as Monterrey is considered the best of the aquariums.

I thought Disney was supposed to a be a leader in the presentation and care of animals, yada, yada, yada.
Seriously, what is the reason Disney can't even match what the MBQ is doing? Not necessarily in scope, as I'm not saying they should have a facility the size of the MBQ in Epcot, but for the exhibits they do have.
