Hi-- the last time we were at Disney I saw a girl using a device I'd never seen before -- I introduced myself and asked her some questions about it. She said it was new and she found it easier around Disney than crutches however she was getting tired

I was trying to find it online and didn't get very far without a name so will describe it and see if anyone knows what I am referring to!

She had a platform (parallel to the ground) that she placed her lower leg in a bent position and basicly was weight bearing on her knee on the platform. It was on wheels and had a handle to hold onto. Basicly she would roll on the platform then step with her other foot.

Thanks Linda

sounds interesting.
Do you have any more information that might be helpful?
Things I was thinking of were:
- was it a pediatric walker or was she older?
- what color was it/what was it made of?
I'm assuming it was a front walker?

I've got a pretty good guess on what you're talking about. Would this be it? http://www.roll-a-bout.com/

It's called the Roll-A-Bout. If it's the one you're talking about, I'll be happy to fill you in on it (my dad has used the roll-a-bout on & off for a few years). If not, well, give me a bit better idea about what you're talking about & maybe I can help with that too. Let me know!

thanks!

I knew you folks would help me find it!
I have a friend who fell and I wanted to share this with her!

Appreciate all the help!

Linda
