Both my DS5 and DH loved it. I expect it will be something we will do again next visit. MGM is not a favorite park or ours, so we are pleased there is something else to do there that we enjoy.
My family liked it during our last trip, but I thought it was just okay. I guess it's not my thing. They all want to see it again this trip so I guess I'll just suck it up and sit through it again.
There's a new show at MGM called Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show. There's one at Disney Paris and they added it at MGM to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. We've seen it twice. First time it was in a soft opening and it really appeared like they were practicing and the show was long. Second time it was on my hubby's b-day a few months later (it wasn't as long and they had it all together!). He really enjoys it but the DDs and I could take a pass on it. I think we're in for another show this next trip because DGP will be along and DH thinks it's a must see for him too! Maybe I can go to the Muppet Theater!
I was very hot, tired and quite frankly a little bored. It was pretty much the same stuff over and over again. I think if it hadn't been so long I would have enjoyed it more and I'll also admit the hot and tired didn't help either! I'm sure I'll have to see it again because I saw it last summer with my brother's family - DD and DH haven't seen it.
I didn't think it was that great either. Dh thought it was kinda cool but we agree that once is enough.
The good thing about this show is it attracts huge crowds. So while everyone else is at this show, we get to experience the surrounding attractions pretty much by ourselves.
Once was enough for me, too! But DH and all four girls seemed to LOVE it (DD16, 14, 10 & 8 at the time). We were even interviewed by a CM after the show last May, I let the girls answer her and they had all positive comments!!
The thing that impressed me the most was that ten minutes into it we experienced a torrential rain storm and they kept going. It was much more impressive to see the stunts when everything was wet.
They blew a tire and it caused an accident in our show. It took about 10 minutes to make repairs. Then it poured and they cancelled the remainder. so we missed the finale. So we're going to see it again and hope everything goes well this time.
I thought there was a bit too much of the auto ballet type stuff.
That is exactly how I feel. I was hoping since we saw it last year, we would skip it this year. However, my DH, DD7 & DS6 informed me that it is three against one and I lose.
