I read were the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at the Disney-MGM Studios started soft opening this week. Did this happen? Will be there on Monday and wondered if I'll have a chance to see it.

Thanks!

Yes they have in fact began the soft openings. They plan to run them daily from now until the official opening. However, with soft openings you cannot be garaunteed to see it as by using the term "soft opening" it allows them the room to close it down if they run into any glitches.

I would say this...........unless they experience a glitch that sends them back to the "drawing board" you should see it.

Or ... unless it's raining.

Wonderful! Can't wait...weather looks good for all of next week, too!

Great! That's exciting. We will be there in 5 days, and I was disappointed that they wouldn't be doing the show yet! Now, there's a chance we will see it! Thanks for the news!

Thanks for posting all the pics and links, everyone !! DNeph and I can't wait to see this when we're down for SWW !! Last summer we went to Grt Adv in Conn and he loved the Batman show - this one will put him over the top !!! :smooth: - Can't wait to show him these pics !!!

We got into Tuesday's preview. It was almost full, we were told that it was a 5000 seat stadium by the cast members, who also said it would go in the rain, but not in lightning. There were a few glitches, several points where there were supposed to be explosions that didn't happen (this according to cast members afterward, who were very interested in our opinions!) It started pretty late, like around 3:20 or later I would guess, after it was supposed to start at 3:00. I think they could streamline it a little, as it lasted about 45-55 minutes (I forgot to check the time right afterward).

We were also told that the previews would last the rest of this week, but would not happen next week, while they work out what they learned this week.

We saw it yesterday (3/15). I understand that they are trying to work the bugs out, but we weren't impressed much. Indiana Jones has more of a story line. One of the ladies that used to be the host at Millionaire was one of the hosts of the new stunt show. The theater is huge, but we had a long walk to get in from the back. Also, getting out was kind of a traffic jam. I hope they work out the bugs. I doubt I'd go back.

Thanks for the details! Hope we get to see it sometime during Apr.3-6!
