Okay, new question. I applied for SPG Amex on-line and made a mistake in filling out the app. It came back they could not process request and I would here from them in 7-10 days. I realized my mistake as soon as I saw the screen so called the next day and it was immediately approved on the phone. Anyway, I don't have the number or the card yet and my SPG status is still just at the preferred level. Should I wait to call to have my status upgraded to Gold until I get my card? What do I ask for when I call since I didn't see this a a benefit on the SPG website.
