Anyone have any idea which level? I'm thinking Deluxe (squeeze as much $$$$ out of the Star Wars fans as possible), maybe but not likely Moderate. I don't think they will make it a value. Just curious what everyone thinks.

I think it's going to be a crazy amount of money. We have to stretch our budget to stay Deluxe for PART of our trip so I don't see us staying at the Star Wars hotel (as much as DH will want to).

Ok, I'm going to admit that I stopped following anything Disney a number of years ago, so I am behind the times. That being said, please forgive this ignorant question: Are they really going to build a Star Wars themed hotel? That'd be cool.

Yep. It's supposed to be themed and immersive and there's a lot of speculation about how the pricing will work. It may be more like a cruise line type all inclusive experience. It may also include some sort of special access to Star Wars Land. But its almost all speculation at this point. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2018/02/d23j-update-star-wars-hotel/

Yeah, it's going to be at a pricing level never before seen at WDW

I'm betting $2500-$3000 a night (room for 4 with a two-night minimum stay)

At first, it will be quite the sticker shock. I think what I've read from early speculation is that a two-night stay (and they might try to shoehorn people into that to control the pace and story) would be $1000 per person. So $4000 for a two-night stay for a family of four. Gulp.

But if you think that also includes two days of tickets and food....well, that starts to justify it a little bit, but still - Gulp. So maybe what some people already would pay for a week's vacation, but now they're paying that for just a few days.

The only way I could justify the price is if we just did that on our Disney part of the trip and went to the beach or somewhere less costly for the remainder of our trip.

It will probably be a once-in-a-lifetime splurge for most folks. Or maybe even something you don't feel a need to do again after you do it. Kind of like expensive Broadway tickets.

Right. And I think we would consider doing a shorter vacation in order to be able to fit this into our budget. So only being in Florida 4-5 days instead of a full week.

That's what I'm thinking, too.

Yeah...I can't even justify one night. do y'all think we would be able to visit the resort?
