New Star Wars Hotel?

Anyone have any idea which level? I'm thinking Deluxe (squeeze as much $$$$ out of the Star Wars fans as possible), maybe but not likely Moderate. I don't think they will make it a value. Just curious what everyone thinks.

I'm just posting in case you may not know - it's not just a Star Wars themed resort, it's an entire experience. You are basically role playing as Star Wars characters while you stay there. That's why the rooms are as detailed as they are (look at pics of the beds). Supposedly you are given clothing to wear, they feed you, probably partake in choose your own adventure style games (for lack of a better term).

It's waaaaaaaay beyond a normal hotel stay. In fact, I don't think people staying here will actually be doing a Disney vacation (meaning parks). Either they will book this and then go home, or maybe book this and then start their vacation at the parks after at a cheaper hotel. :)

I’m guessing/budgeting $5000 for 2 or 3 nights for 3 people.
We’ll just do it as an addition to our regular WDW vacation as we stay on our DVC points and have APs most years.
My guess is it will include entry into SW’s land, front of the line access to both rides and maybe dinning.

Was thinking a bit more "Galactic" .... or creative but then ....

I like " Emporer Deluxe"

I like this one best .... especially the play on spelling ........... cause you will be.

I misspelled that...twice. Time for bed.

Oh no .......... I totally thought you did that on purpose ......... cause after staying there you will be "poorer" .......... I'll just stick with you did it on purpose, better story. ;)

When you posted it I didn't catch what you were saying at all lol. I'm glad you explained it. I thought you liked Emperor because they have emperors in Star Wars.

I was just going to post "I see what you did there" ......... that probably would have really made no sense. I just assumed the spelling was wrong on purpose to reflect how expensive it would be. That would be a winning name for the category!

Looks terribly uncomfortable and awful to me..but thats just my opinion lol. I know many people will love this additional, but my family has no interest in anything star wars.
Unfortunately, DH loves Star Wars.

It'll be Deluxe+. At $1500 -$2000 a night I don't think it fits any other category.
I had no idea that a price range was released! That price is just rediculous. I have stayed deluxe many times but that is ........................... you fill in the blank, my wife hates it when I curse.

Did not know about the complete immersive experience. Thank you for the added info. I enjoy the Star Wars movies but not a crazy fan so did not do to much due diligence so to speak. I due have an incredibely wealthy Star Wars freak friend so if he ever stays i will post his opinions for all us poor disney/Star wars fans.

I told DH I'm going to start saving money now because I want to stay there for my 50th birthday trip! That should give me enough time to save up. I don't make a big deal about my birthday or ask for anything, but I figured this would be worth it! I wonder if I can request a meet and greet with Yoda?

Haha nice! I don't think that any prices have been officially released, but I think it's a safe bet that guests will be willing to pay a whole lot.

Maybe they should auction off the rooms for the first few months of operation and see what happens! That's one way to find out the maximum that people are actually willing to pay. I can easily see fans willing to spend over a thousand for the lowest tier of room.

Personally, I think that paying $400/night for a Deluxe room is a huge splurge... so I'm not even in that category most of the time.

We are in the same boat as you. We are staying at BC in October paying $385/night and that is way more than we would normally spend. We are doing a split stay to make it more affordable. I usually try to find good hotel deals on Undercover Tourist.

They will still sell out at any price. Would be nice if they gave an extra EMH to hotel guests since then it would feel like part of the all-inclusive costs is essentially a hard ticket to star wars galaxy edge, but I'm not holding my breath. I expect we will eventually splurge for it, depending on the final price. If it is really $1500 for two days that is not completely out of line with other hotels, since GF and the Poly often have rack rates of $1,000 per night.

Like some others have said, we wouldn't pay this for a hotel but we'd pay it for a cruise, and that's much more what this sounds like it will be like.

Hmm..Actually the article says $900-$1000 is for 2 nights. that's more reasonable i guess...
