new "sports tix" thread...?

I have been reading with great interest the thread about the PH passes bought thru disney sports. I have a ?, and since that thread is soooo long, I thought I would start a new one! I need to know if the 3 day hoppers include a plus or not. On the original thread, one poster said it does not, but another poster says it does! If anyone knows,I would love this info!!! Thanks alot!

The three day does not come with a plus. I bought the 4 day with a plus for $149 each.

I saw your original posts in the first thread. Have you received your tickets yet? We are going at about that time & I am curious about the valid dates on your passees. Any information you could provide (including what you told the CM when you called) would be appreciated.

Does anyone who got these tickets have a date range on them? I received mine today - plastic card with character on front. On back says 4 days for parks plus one WP/DQ. There are no dates. I was assuming there would be a date range around the event I chose. Are they just good for 14 days from first use?

I have not personally gotten tickets, but I took 2 pages of notes on the "original" thread. Some people definitely had dates on their tickets. One person posted valid dates of 2/19 - 3/7 which would be 18 days. I'm guessing that the 4 extra days are due to a 4-day sporting event. (I don't know which event these particular tickets were for.) Another post stated that the tickets expire 10 days after 1st use.
Congratulations on getting your tickets. I wish I were so lucky. I doubt you'll have any trouble using them. Enjoy!

I received my tickets and it says on the back:
5 Day Park Hopper + 1 WP/DQ---Sports
Valid 06/25/04 through 07/16/04

My event was the girls basketball, July 4-11.

I was reading the other thread also and had a question - but was almost afraid to ask - for fear of getting flamed (?)

There is an event going on during our stay (the weekend toward the end of our stay) - for a jump rope competition. Can I call to get these discounted tickets - stating I want to attend this event?. Does anyone know how specific the questions are they ask you when you call?

I know this sounds bad - but the prices for the 5 day PH look too good to pass up - appears to be almost $60+ savings on each (?) The dates for this event would work out perfect for our trip.

Any help with this?

My tickets sound quite like the others - but no dates.

"4 DAY PARK HOPPER + 1 WP/DQ - SPORTS"

It then goes on to list the 4 parks names and that we have one choice of DBB, DTL or DQ.

Just no dates. I bought them online through the "Slo-Pitch Slam" section (dates for event are 4/30-5/2).

I guess we'll be alright since there are no date restrictions indicated (we'll be using the tickets between 4/28-5/3).

I printed each screen when I placed my order, maybe I'll just bring my paperwork the first day to make sure there's no problem.

My tickets arrived yesterday. On the back it says

4 Day PH + 1 WP or DQ-Sports

There are dates listed:

Valid 6/10/2004-6/27/2004


These dates are 7 days prior to the event I chose and 7 days after the event.


They are saving me a lot of money. I don't feel I'm being dishonest as I told the CM we might be spectators. She really didn't seem to care one way or the other. I do spend PLENTY of money with Disney and this was just a way for me to save a little. As a widowed mother of two girls, I try to find the best way for us to make it to Disney financially. When we return in December we will have Annual Passes again. I truly don't think I did anything wrong.
