I was thinking Wonders of Life
...I am guessing Wonders of Life too considering the building already has a "round" look to it. It may be easier to build a curved window looking out to space in a space that already looks space-like.
FYI this will not go in the Wonders pavilion but attached to Mission Space on the other side of the building near Test Track.
Thanks . .i didn't read through the entire thread.
It will be economical to operate for disney since they can use all dehydrated and re constituted food. After all, that's what people eat in space....
Intrigued because it is an interesting concept. I can't think of any other similar restaurant.
Cautious because I like my restaurants to off good food and service. Afraid that this one will try to get by on atmosphere.
There is a huge building in WS next to the UK that could be used as the Festival Center. The Wonders of Life's 2nd incarnation has been the Food & Wine Festival center. Seeing how much $$$ F&W brings in and how Disney keeps extending its' length, I can't seen them getting rid of the Festival Center. Due to the huge amount of daily F&W demos and events there aren't many other options to move the center either. I can't see the WoL pavilion going anywhere.
Other plans for the existing buildings. Wonders is huge and they don't need that much space for this restaurant. Thanks . .i didn't read through the entire thread.
Seems odd to not use an existing building .. but hey . .sometimes it is cheaper to build a new building than repurpose and old one. That is why you continue to see old abandoned shopping malls and restaurants while brand new ones pop up right next to them.
By the 50th is all we really know. They put a huge emphasis on WDW changes in time for the 50th.I'm dying to know when this will open. A restaurant can't take that long, compared to an attraction. Plus, a restaurant immediately begins to return on the investment when it opens - which makes it something they could put a priority on.
True to the original vision of Epcot, Disney, family, timeless and relevant. Bob Chapek said those are the Epcot goals when announcing this stuff. While all these announcements of new attractions and restaurants is nice .. it would be nice to know what the "vision" is for Epcot's future. They obviously have one. I don't think they are just piece-mealing attractions and restaurants in with no "vision".
Well . .making more attractions in the World Showcase will definintely make it more family friendly. Heh . .I HATED that area as a kid. SOOO boring.True to the original vision of Epcot, Disney, family, timeless and relevant. Bob Chapek said those are the Epcot goals when announcing this stuff.

I wonder if he meant Walt's vision or those who originally designed the park. I can't see the relation to either one truth be told.True to the original vision of Epcot, Disney, family, timeless and relevant. Bob Chapek said those are the Epcot goals when announcing this stuff.
