I talked to a person at Southwest yesterday and asked if they new when the new rates/flights would be released. I don't knw if there is any truth in this or his particular speculation but he told me that SW was adding more planes to their fleet and they were in the process of updating the schedules/ flights and it wold be another 2 weeks before releasing there new schedule / rates.

I am not sure what to do, Do I wait for them to release the new rates? Do I drive to Boston and go with another carrier.

What is the lowest rate I can expect from Southwest in Jan. from Manchester NH to Orlando.

I can get non stop round trip AA for about $460.00 for the three of us. With seats assigned and be done with it. If it is only going to save me $50 or so to wait I am better off to get the AA tickets and give my nerves a rest. But if the savings are $100 or more that is a couple more Character meals we can afford.

What would you/are going to do?

It feels like one of those Zip-A-Dee- Doo- Dah days me thinks I will watch "Song of the South tonight

I think I am replying just to vent my own frustration about Southwest. We don't fly your route, but your AA fare seems very good. Our alternative, ATA, is only $20/flight more expensive than SW, but I really like/need the flexibility to change that SW offers. My other frustration is we are flying January 13-17 so I am just waiting for the return flights to become available! It is frustrating that SW is taking so long for what is a holiday weekend for us here (MLK Day). I will be interested to hear if there is more information that SW will be delayed in releasing dates after January 14. Good luck.

I hate the waiting myself and there is a big convention that week for Lotus developers and users. I have watched JET Blue go from $77 for a retuen flight to $79 to$99 now to $139 a person return trip so it spocks me to wait much longer I am afraid that my other options will be priced out to high if I wait much longer.

I need a dose of Disney Magic can somebody shake a little pixie dust please???

Thanks

and I don't suppose the fact that Hurricane Jeanne is headed right for central Florida again is going to help matters as flights are cancelled and everyone is changing plans again. I don't think they are ever going to release those dates!!

I feel your pain. We are also waiting for SWA to realease flights for our cruise dates in late February. I hemmed and hawed over the JetBlue flights and now they are $139 each way. As much as I LOVE JetBlue, I'd really rather just fly out of Manchester which is only 20 minutes up the highway for us. I've been sitting on pins and needles waiting......I really want to jump on the fares as soon as they are released!

Good luck!

Ain't wait a bear, I am not a good personfor this gameI am a Decide and Do.

SW was a little more talkative this morning, the lady I talked to this mornign seems to think in about three days or so, she also looked at the comp and said to expect about $179 to $199 per person round trip. Said that here may be a few for less then that but not sure if and or how many. We live in Madbury it is easier to go to Manchester but I have always gone out of Logan so I may just take that route get my seats now and forget about it, but the extra cash for the trip would be nice.

good luck and enjoy your trip

WHoo HOO They are booking!! I got $136.00 roundtrip!!! for all 7 passengers from Baltimore to Orlando!

I am so happy!

Good luck everyone.

Not me the best I can do is $160 and having to stop at BWI (nothing personal Cmbar) I can get same rate from AA non stop with pre assigned seats.

I am glad that wait is over

Happy Trails everyone Dave

I am glad SWA released more dates. But who said flights to florida were canceled. Every airline reports normal operations. I am going to florida and everything is on schdule. Jeanne if it does hit florida will probably hit the extreme east coast. I hope it doestnt effect my plans this weekend.
