New Soarin' film coming???

It would be great if they do this like the new Star Tours. Films a lot of scenes and play a random sub-set of scenes each time you ride. Would keep it very fresh.

I've been saying this for years. Do different parts of the country/world and tie into the Epcot theme.

That would be very cool.
What will not be cool, is when Soarin' closes for the refurb. Yikes! What will that mean for waits for Test Track and the ability to get FPs

Hopefully it wouldn't be a long refurb. Just long enough to reprogram the movements of the seats.

This is encouraging! I think it would be great to have a new around the world film that fits in better with EPCOT. The question is when? It's been 10 years to get to this point, so I'm not exactly holding my breath.

yikes the lines would be even more outrageous! Would they change it at DCA I wonder too?

Exciting! Wonder when it'll debut? That just means well have to go back!

Interesting. It may not need much down time to make this type of change. If they can't make the change overnight then maybe they would keep one side running while the other is being changed over.

Well, forever never happens.

Can you be more specific with what you were referring to? Thanks.

I was obviously exaggerating. But how about ...

  • Five years to complete New Fantasyland.
  • At least six years to complete Hyperion Wharf, er, Disney Springs.
  • At least six years to complete Avatar Land.

I could go on ...

Don't get me started on closed attractions, empty spaces, or diminished experiences.

If you are filling up your hotels and parks, no reason to rush to the new hotness, take the economical way. If you are consistently living on the scraps of the neighboring park, then you pay to get to the new revenue faster.

Or in other words, the ROI is much different for Universal then and still. Its the same reason you get buildings put up in Las Vegas much faster than anywhere else, the opportunity costs are much higher than paying for construction around the clock.

Not to mention the Seven Dwarves ride that is finally about to open.

Soarin' Over the World sounds great though!

It does sound good...maybe I'm in the minority here, but I will miss the old video all the same.
