I'd be fine with that. Bringing everybody down to the lowest common denominator instead of trying to get the greatest return on investment on our best and brightest has had profoundly bad consequences on modern day society.
I'm not sure I understand.....who is considered the best and the brightest?
An autism spectrum disorder results in impaired social skills and repetitive restrictive behaviors. The following people fit that description: Thomas Jefferson, Mozart, Einstein, Sir Issac Newton, Michelangelo, Tim Burton, Dan Aykroyd, Charles Darwin, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates.
And what about Helen Keller who was blind and deaf, as well as an author and political activist?
Having special needs does not equate to being the lowest common denominator.
