Does anyone know the status of the new slide that was planned for the main pool at OKW? Is it finished? Does anyone have any pictures to share?

Thanks!

It's open and it looks like a big sand castle. There have been pictures posted, but I do not have the link. Someone will come through for you with this.

Here are a few more ... with sun!

We had breakfast at Olivias on our check out day, after staying off site on Jan. 18. I decided to check out the progress! The slide was open that am, the weather was cold and steam rising off the pool.. the water was very warm, 89 degrees and the air was a cold 48 degrees! A CM was testing the slide, and adding wax to make it go faster! It was hilarious to watch a grown man slide down! The pool was empty but there was a new life guard there and she was teasing the CM that was going down, Telling him to slide down on his back to go even faster! I walked up the steps and looked out the top of the slide. It is a spiral, similar to Vero Beach slide. It's quite a hike. There is a almost, hidden mickey in the side of the tower. I'll admit that I was not one that was all hyped about adding a slide, or the extra mf involved, but NOW I can see that it will be a huge hit, it was very pretty and I am glad they put it in. It looks great, and they did a great job of integrating it into the current structure and themeing. Well done!

My kids were in the pool there last Thursday and they LOVED the new slide! On the allearsnet website they have lots of slide pictures including a couple from the inside.

As usual...Doc comes through! Thanks Doc!

It opened on Jan 14. we spent 10 days looking at the barriers to come down in 80 degree temp and it opens on check-out day in a downpour. :confused3
