How long does it take to receive the card?

I received my card pretty quickly, less than 2 weeks, possibly even 1 week. I did link the card to my checking account, rather than my debit card (same account) and my funds weren't available as quickly, but my bonus hit about 5 days after I sent the original funds in, once my account was fully active. I think the total time from sign up to bonus money was less than 2 weeks.

Thanks! My additional money was there by the next day but I wondered about the card and didn't remember reading anything about how long it would take when I signed up. I'd love to have it in the next two weeks.

Can you sign up and use them for gifts? Or are they linked forever to your bank account? I want to give these to the kids for Christmas but don't want them to have access to our $$.
