New Shows on the Magic?? PLEASE!

We have three Dream cruises this year, so three more times to see B&B!

Interesting, hope they give us something extra special!
I know Buckets & Boards will be onboard, we have seen them a few times, but they're very a lot of fun to watch.

don’t count on anything extra special. I was on a Panama Canal Cruise and they didn’t have golden mickeys because they were redoing it. You will just get another performer on a night. Hopefully you will have John Charles he’s the best on dcl imo.

I’m thinking DCL is not thinking about new shows on their four ships that is out now. Their priority is to come out with new shows on the three new ships. I’m guessing one show for all three ships and a new show for each of the new ships. Than the other show will be from one of the four ships that is out now. So that’s four new shows coming out. Just my guess

We are retired. This particular three night is because we gave up a Princess Australia cruise in March. We cancelled because of the fires and just about all I wanted to see in Australia was the wildlife. We were also going to see Princess in Oz a fellow Disboarder and missing her is sad as well.

So, this three nighter is an “instead.” We have an Italy round trip to Greece Turkey and Israel planned for October. We like many kinds of cruises!

The performers are who I was talking about, I love that they bring in special guests.
We have seen a few Disney Broadway stars, the voice of Mickey, I enjoy these shows a lot.

Nothing's wrong with Tangled. It's over 4 years old and we've seen it twice. I did mention/imply that I liked it. Twice Charmed has been around SO long. Disney cruise line blog says since July 1998!! Was hoping they changed that or Dreams.

Dreams was one of the Original shows since Day 1 of DCL.....I don't believe Twice Charmed was on since 1998.

Dreams has won awards so I doubt they are going to get rid of it completely. I actually didn't like Villains at all and I love all the Villains!! I wish they would bring back Hercules the Museical!!!

I'm not sure Twice Charmed was that long ago, either. We only started cruising in 2008 and I don't recall it then. but it had a major rework around 2016 (it debuted on our EBTA that year). EDIT: I did a little searching online and found that Twice Charmed (the original show) debuted in 2005 (replacing Hercules). So I guess it was onboard when we started cruising.

But I agree with you on Villains Tonight! I thought the concept for such a show sounded good, but the production was really bad.

A show with villains or Hercules doesn't sound like one we saw, but maybe we did. Wish I could remember. I'm really looking forward to the Twice Charmed since we haven't seen it yet.

Drams/Wishes/Believe/Golden Mickey's are all so contrived and formulaic, and the same formula at that. I know I'm in the minority - by a long shot - but I actually thought Villains Tonight was one of the better shows that they had. On a side note, for the Golden Mickey's, how quickly will they record segment with Chapek to replace Iger?

Hercules was Villians tonight. Hadi's club and he had to get help from other villians. I loved the on where a family was boarding and they would do a dance and sho and the last night it was the family saying goodbye.
