More new theme park fun is in store for Walt Disney World guests

Just Announced: New Nemo Musical at Animal Kingdom; The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot!


"Finding Nemo--The Musical," will debut late 2006 in the former Tarzan Rocks! location at Disney's Animal Kingdom, will bring the undersea world that charmed audiences in the Disney presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios film "Finding Nemo" to life in an all-new stage spectacular featuring original songs by Tony Award-winning "Avenue Q" composer Robert Lopez and a cappella musical "Along the Way" composer Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

The Seas with Nemo & Friends will open in Fall 2006 at Epcot at The Living Seas pavilion , opening fall 2006 at Epcot, will be a whimsical and visually stunning attraction in The Living Seas pavilion featuring technology that for all appearances has the stars of "Finding Nemo" swimming amid the live marine life of the huge aquarium in an adventure that picks up where the motion picture left off.

I know it's probably too early.... any idea (based on past experience) when in fall AK is likely to open the new show? I'm there the first two weeks of october - last time we went in '03 we were lucky enough to have the soft opening of Philarmagic! at MK.

Finding Nemo was a great movie. Glad to hear about the musical. Looking forward to seeing it on our next trip.

No offense to my avatar - we are staying at the Poly so I thought it was fitting for my posts.

Sorry to say we'll have to wait for our return trip in 2007 - Easter break.
I hope the new attractions have fast passes

I guess I must be the opposite of all of you, Nemo the Musical.. I am not so sure about that especially it replacing Tarzan at Animal Kingdom. I think WDW can come up with something a bit better than that at AK.
