There is a media event scheduled in late April. Someone is making a guess, albeit a good one. But there is still no official date.

Press and media event is scheduled for April 30 through May 2.

Well...when it does officially open the lines are going to be UNBELIEVABLE. I don't remember a ride that has been more hotly anticipated as this.

Does anyone know if it will have a single rider line? Or when you'll be able to pre book FP+?

Oh no! We're planning on starting our vacation at WDW on may 2, and I have no desire to fight the crazy people at rope drop and the massive crowds that are just there for this one new ride. Sigh. I don't really feel like changing around all my ADRs and FP+ reservations just to avoid this but I'm afraid it will be a total zoo.
