SWEET! Our September community is growing! I wish we had a roll call with dates and resorts at the beginning of the thread. Are any of the original planners still here?

Who is going to MNSSHP and what are you wearing?
We haven't decided if we want to go the Friday 13th (when many people are busy at the free HS Villains party, we think) or the Tuesday 17th which is our last night.

All of us will dress up, but not sure if it will be a coordinated group costume or not. I have worn the same thing for 4 parties and it may be time for a change.

We are going to MNSSHP on the 13th. I'm hoping with the Villains thing at DHS being free with admission and MNSSHP being a ticketed event, it will make MNSSHP slower. Originally, we were going to dress up as Mouseketeers, but now I am thinking of just making these Mickey Head Jack-O-Latern matching shirts.

So I have been following a thread on tests of the new magicband FP+ system
(see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3120253 better info toward end of thread)
Rumour is that the full system is set to go live towards the end of this year. Since users have the option of selecting their FP+ attractions 60 days out, it would be exciting to know if Sept. people get contacted for this. Last Sept. we were in a test group using the FP+ with cards not magicbands and I loved it even though it was restricted to 1 day's selection at MK.

I was really hoping that at least the bands, would be live by the time we went. Oh well, I guess we'll just have something else that will be new to look forward to on our next trip.

My husband and I are going 9/11-9/19 for our 20th anniversary! It is actually 8/28 but we can wait to celebrate. We had originally had a camping trip planned but when I found out I could get 2 roundtrip tickets on Southwest for 64.00 total (I used some points I had saved) and Free dining we changed to Disney! So excited! Now if I can just get a reservation at Be our Guest!

congrats! sounds exciting! we have 2 adrs for bog bc our original time was late but we are only keeping one we are going to be making a decision here soon if you are interested i can send you a pm and let you know when we decide?

Hi! We are going Sept 1-18 at AoA! We are so excited! It is going to be my DH, DD 8, DS 5, and DD 8 months! We are going to MNSSHP on Sept 17 because it is my son's 5 bday! We had to cancel our June reservations due to work. Now we are going Sept. 14-Sept. 21. My parents are going to join us also. They have never been with just us. Only when the whole family (15 of us) went. I am so excited about them getting to really experience Disney and not be running crazy trying to spend time with each set of grandkids!

Don't forget we are celebrating her 2nd Birthday there also! Can't wait to see Disney through the eyes of my DD.

My dd celebrated her 3rd at FW. I called and let them know. Told them that she loved Cinderella. They had a CM bring her a special balloon with a birthday card from Cinderella. (They also brought the other 3 kids balloons with welcome cards from other characters.

I have never been so torn. Still haven't decided which party. We are huge villain fans, but the crowds will be CRAZY! At least we finally agreed on costumes. Now we are going as students and alumni of MU. Seemed pretty simple, MU design t-shirts with different monster flourishes. Horns, furry hair, deely bobber eye-balls. It will be the first time we don't have to return to the room to dress up - saving time. DSinlaw can haul the accessories in a backpack which we can use at the party to stash candy. (if he's coming, he has to make himself useful)

My fiancé and I are getting married Friday the 13th and then arriving in Disney on the 16th and spending a week there at the Wilderness Lodge.
Couldn't be more excited!

We plan on going to MNSSHP which we have never been to - my fiancé is excited as Halloween is his (our) favorite to celebrate! We even have matching mickey/minnie pumpkin head tattoos ;D

We're just 80 days from arriving - getting close!

Hoop de doo Musical revue, Boma Breakfast, Tusker House, Rainforest Cafe, Germany, Italy, Supercalifragilistic Breakfast, Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest, Sci Fi Dine In Theater, Brown Derby, T-Rex and Raglen Road Irish Pub. Also we will be doing MNSSHP again! I can't wait!!!

WOW! 19 trips that is fantastic. I see you got a much coveted BOG adr! Sounds like an awesome line-up, but they may need to roll you and your mom out. Welcome to the thread!

WooHoo! Congrats on the nuptials! Hope you have a super honeymoon - the party is packed most nights, but totally awesome. The Fall/Halloween decor is terrific in MK!

We've been married 21 years. Our honeymoon was my first time going to WDW. The memories are still so vivid in my mind. Best of luck to y'all and have a wonderful long awaited honeymoon!

We are going Sept 14-21! All Star Movies! We are going to the MNSSHP on Tuesday the 17th. My husband is going to be Mickey, I'm going to be Minnie! Our daughter age 25, doesn't want to dress up. I wanted her to be a Mouseketeer, but she just wants to wear an orange t shirt. I started sewing my skirt tonight... it's turning out quite nice. I look forward to hearing about others costumes!

I would like to join the planning party! DH and I are going September 4th through the 9th. A short trip this time, but one we hadn't planned on taking. We were planning to skip this year, but I just couldn't. So when free dining came out, that sealed the deal. Unfortunately, DH only had a few days vacation left, so it leaves us short of our ideal 8 or 9 day trip. But I'm NOT complaining!!!

We are staying at our favorite resort: Port Orleans French Quarter. We're too early for the MNSSHP, but it couldn't be helped. I LOVE that party!! Congrats for all who are going. It's a real blast!

The down side of an impromptu visit is I have to take the dining choices that are left. The only one I regret missing out on is, of course BOG. We went there last year on our arrival day November 28th and it was just fabulous! I got teary when we walked into the main dining room. What a dweeb! We also went twice for lunch and it was yummy!! We will do lunch at least once on this trip. I still check a few times a day just in case someone cancels.

Now I need to go back and read all the pages and get to know you guys a bit better. I do recognize Marblies from a trip thread we were on together a trip or two ago. April? Sept?November? Can't remember. Hope everyone has a great day!
