New Security Procedures

So the new security procedures are to be in place by now. Anyone have any insight as to how it's working from the Fort? Are they checking you at (or before) the dock or do you ride over and still get checked at MK?

Inquiring minds want to know.

You get searched at the dock at the MK is what is being said on the thread about it. I could be wrong and it could be the dock at the Fort but pretty sure I read it was at the MK when unloading. Whichever it is it is one check only.

Still checked at MK with all the small launches. The security bubble has been extended only to monorail resorts and TTC parking. Course if you take the monorail to EPCOT from a resort or the TTC, you now get the privilege of being checked twice! Once at the resort or TTC and again at the entrance to EPCOT.

I do hope this policy helps lower the crowding in front of the MK. It has always made me a little claustrophobic, especially at rope drop and high volume times. There really were a lot of bodies crammed in to a small space with almost no quick exits. In the park, in the lake, or down the small path back to the Contemporary were your only choices.
