Sooooo counting down! Ack - no I'm not!!!! We have our little cubs b-day party this Sat (his b-day was about 2 weeks ago but we wait every year til schools back in and all are back from trips, etc.) I am soooo not a party planner by nature. And being the dead of winter it is so hard to figure out what to do w/ 10 excited 6 year olds!!! Double ack!!!!

So...What type of deal did you book your Disney trip under???
....Only needed one root canal instead of 2.
Dental Stuff is Sooo expensive, and dental insurance is hard to come by, and pretty useless when you do have it.

Haven't booked the trip yet, but not as expensive for 3 as it is for 4. And the root canel and crown would hav ebeen close to 1800 or so. Scary to have to decide whether to have fun or be able to chew!

Hey she has to start somewhere.. She will love it.. And before you know it she will be competing too. Em is still too young to compete here so we have lots of time. She's into her hockey big time now. The little ones have a hockey tournament the first weekend in February. I'm gonna video tape it. It should be funnier than all get out..

Yeah, she is into it already. It helps her tormenter isn't in this group. That was the one that told her she was fat over the summer and other lovely such comments.

I may have to pull the school card out though after the call from her teacher today Seems she is trying to not do her work, class or home (hid it from us last night, but undone in her bookbag when she got to school!) and isn't trying with her reading. I am thinking she wants to stay in the "easy" class. AUGH!!!

I'd love to see that video. Sure to be a riot in more ways than one!!

Funny, kinda update on my schedule it right now root canel. They did NOTHING! They can' t figure out what is wrong, why I have bone loss, why the tooth is fine. Kept running the same stupid tests. No it don't hurt, yes I feel the cold, you need how many more xrays? 3 peopel ran the same tests nad have no idea what is going on. funny what prayers can do. Great money savers, at least for me.

Still have to go get the other one next to that molar looked at. Has a "L" shaped break and a good crack across the cusp. going to try a temperary crown on it for about a month and then if that holds, but a real one on. but if I can put it on the Disney Visa...! More money for the trip!!

Since the kids had a "cold" day today we all went out to breakfast together and we drove by the river and i snapped a couple pictures of the Detroit River..

Oh and a picture of Nick's pancakes

I truely think so. And I think that group is some of Krista's self esteem problems now too. The kid avoids me like the plague now though! I use to teach her in swimming and if I enter the youth lobby and she is their, she moves away from me/us pretty quick!

And yeah, my 44 lb 4' daughter who can't wear size 6 pants without lots of elastic or an adjustable waist is fat....

Good pictures. Is the river freezing up or is it just foggy/cloudy looking?

Here is SE VA. it is a beautiful, sunny day, not a cloud in site. And it is about 28 degrees. Yes people are still wearing shorts & flip flops. I did opt for socks under my slip on open heeled shoes. Yes we love our very cold but rarely raining at the same time winters! Stupid weather. Course in June, I'll be glad to get out of school earlier than mid month if we don't use the "weather days"!

Its all ice I took it with Anthony's cell phone so its not as good as a reg. camera would have been...
