We are under a tornado watch and a severe thunderstorm alert. Maybe we won't have to swim tonight and just get paid to sit there! I think that is just the lifeguard though. Oh well!

Krista got 3 awards today at school. Citizen of the month, Honor role & something else... blank spot in my mind. I am so proud of her!!

Good morning, everyone! Sounds like a busy weekend! Ours was not very. I read a book from front to back on Saturday, so ya know it was an easy day. I do read all the time, but don't usually get more than 1/2 hour at a time to read in. Yesterday we spent most of the day at my sis and bil's. They got another puppy and my nephew got a new snake, so we had to meet the new members of the ark. (this sis has now 3 indoor dogs + 4 outside dogs, 4 indoor cats, 4 snakes, 4 lizards, 3 hermit crabs, and 3 horses, see why we call it the ark?)

Jacqueline, sounds like a great first year for EM. She is probably feeling anxious about going away now, and once she gets to school and settled in it will be easier. I am sure that all this extra attention and support now will have her feeling all safe and secure!

Danielle, sorry about your mom. Hope she is feeling better!

Good morning all. Glad to see Bear post last night after a tornado was in the Richmond area (South Park Mall area for those who went).

We had a nasty one about 25 minutes away, and we never have tornados here unless it is hurricane related. Hit a hospital and did some major damage right around it. Pictures of the funnel clouds: http://www.wavy.com/Global/story.asp?S=8239672.

The strip mall was across the street from the hospital. 200 people injured, but no one died, Thank the Lord.
