Let's just say that my shy little boy came out of his shell!
(And by the way...if he decides he wants a career in showbiz, I'm gonna "gently encourage" him to audition for a Disney show....Momma's not dumb!)

It was a cold, but good game!

Spontaneous trips are the best! I'm glad it was great!

I'll go with him! By the time I'm 18, he'll probably be... 13?? haha, never to young, I have to say. When you have a cute little boy with you to audition, luck is on your side.

He sounds cool! Showbiz boys are always good to go

Happy Friday all! Yesterday Meagan came to work with me for the Take Our Kids To Work thing. That was lots of fun, but really exhausting for me, and I didn't get to DIS at all, it was awful! She had a good time and can't wait to come back next year. Still waiting to hear anything from the dr office on the results from the MRI, which was done Wednesday night. The only difficulty with it was that I had to lay flat and still on my back, with my knees propped up on a wedge thing, and with where my back is messed up, that is probably the single most painful position in the world. My back was having spasms after about 5 minutes and it took half an hour. But hopefully they will be able to see what is going on so we can get it taken care of.

What's the big plans for the weekend? I don't think we have much of anything going on this weekend, should be fairly quiet. It is chilly here so we won't want to be outside much, highs in the 40's and 50's all weekend.

Gosh am I glad this week is over (well not quite but almost) To keep Em awake during the day to avoid naps so she would sleep thru the night -- yes it is like parenting a toddler again -- we did something everyday. Left me over-extended myself though. Ducky needs down time to keep from falling apart.

Yesterday i went for an ultrasound on my shoulder (same arm as i had surgery on) and it took them over 1.5 hours looking huhm, tsking etc, kept mumbling about stuff they didn't like. Took results to radiologist and he sent me for more X-Rays (picture me waddling thru the halls with one of those loverly gown trailing behind me). This am I get a phone call from family doctor, seems they have ordered MRI to rule out "suspicious growth" I am beginning to think i will never get over this hump of crud.

I lost it at choir, we were a bit late and i managed to sing through one song before i had to run from the sanctuary in tears. Guess everything that is on my plate just finally spilled over and down my cheeks. I am still very out of sorts and just had a major blow up with John (rarely if ever happens)

sorry .. once again I am a whiny DUCKIE

Well i got a phone call around dinner time on Friday and my MRI appointment is MONDAY @ 6:30 p.m. Guess it is a double edged sword: I don't have long to stew about it BUT now i wonder why it is happening So darned FAST!

Forgot to mention this so figured why not make a whole new post instead of editing the last one??

We were up till around midnight last night helping EM pick out her courses for next year. What an exercise that was. FIRST find 10 courses she want to take (ok 9 after the one she must take to satisfy her major) THEN select which actual class to take so her schedule doesn't look like a train wreck. All i kept thinking was "glad Ben went to college and just had to make one click on which program he wanted. then the whole system just GAVE him all the classes he had to take"

She will take 5 classes for Sept to December:
Intro to Italian
Intro to Music Theory
Astronomy
Anthropology
and Reading Fiction

from January to April she will be taking
Film and the image (even includes an actual movie night)
Greek World
Roman Civilization
Values and Society
AND either The Symbols of Evil OR Communication Studies -- intro to Media
