I hope they get you the results bythe end of the day...sounds tough to lie still in pain for that long.

Weekend plans.....Chris has his school Musical tonight and we have baseball all day tomorrow. If the weather's decent on Sun., we'll get the garden mulched after church...i'm thinking we might put that off till next weekend when we have Sat. and Sun. to get it done though.

I had wanted to get the flower beds weeded and mulched this weekend, but rainy and cold is NOT the right weather for that for me. (I really hate weeding and mulching, so the weather makes a good excuse). :rotfl:

There is an ad out there that if you spend 10.00 (starting today) at participating stores you can pick a free Webkinz. You can go to Webkinz.com to see if there is one near you.

I might look tonight, when/if I ever get off work and can still function. I'd suggest calling first!

 Afternoon all!! We have hockey ALL weekend. Anthony is in a tournament so we will live at the rink..

I don't care how scared those adults are. Don't let them clutch at you!

Its not all that bad. I love working with them and am so proud that they want to learn and have over come their fears to attempt it. Some never had a chance, but most have had an incident happen in their younger lives that has really influenced them not to get near it. We are on a peninsula here, so it is a good thing to know.

And I come highly recommended by my students, even when I let them go to try it on their own!:rolleyes1

We're home! All went very well. SHe has to keep her knee immobilized for a week, then next week back to the doctor and physical therapy 2x a week for 4 to 6 weeks. She's sleeping right now. I gotta tell you 14 year old girls coming out of anesthesia are funny!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Wait until you get them older and younger than that. Chip is a full blown riot himself and the only bad thing that has happened was when he tried to "drunkly" punch out the doc person trying to do a nerve block. We all told him, including the surgeon not to let Chip see the needle, but sure enough, he had to make sure he was awake enough to put that huge thing in his leg. Chip barely focused on it and took a wild swing. Doc guy said he might sue or not do it at all if patient was violent. Chips surgeon looked at him and said, "I told you not to let him see the needle". Tee hee

Hope she i doing well know.:goodvibes I know how hard it is to move when you are wearing that brace thing.

Gosh am I glad this week is over (well not quite but almost) To keep Em awake during the day to avoid naps so she would sleep thru the night -- yes it is like parenting a toddler again -- we did something everyday. Left me over-extended myself though. Ducky needs down time to keep from falling apart.

Yesterday i went for an ultrasound on my shoulder (same arm as i had surgery on) and it took them over 1.5 hours looking huhm, tsking etc, kept mumbling about stuff they didn't like. Took results to radiologist and he sent me for more X-Rays (picture me waddling thru the halls with one of those loverly gown trailing behind me). This am I get a phone call from family doctor, seems they have ordered MRI to rule out "suspicious growth" I am beginning to think i will never get over this hump of crud.

I lost it at choir, we were a bit late and i managed to sing through one song before i had to run from the sanctuary in tears. Guess everything that is on my plate just finally spilled over and down my cheeks. I am still very out of sorts and just had a major blow up with John (rarely if ever happens)

sorry .. once again I am a whiny DUCKIE

 Hi.. Oh you meant the other sunshine.

Hi everyone.

2girlsmom...I hope the MRI went alright!:goodvibes

I already know that Winnie is OK. :goodvibes

I miss you all so darn much...I just can't seem to get on lately.

Same here, so I just answer in a bunch! With the mailing list database I am setting up, I am sure I'll be in your town shortly! Wherever that is?!

how nice just when i NEED, truly need some friends there are peeps still up.

For those of who have ttens (older ones) or those who have already left home, how do you deal with the times when they feel that being a "young" child is better? All of a sudden i am spending more time with Em then I did when she was 5. I think the possibility of University is causing great stress and she is reacting in the only way she knows how .... Hang on tight to Mom and don't let her out of your sight.

We decided to take knitting lessons to give us something fun to do together ... she caught on ME mine looks like the dog had the needles :scared1:

My knitting is that way too. I don't know how to cast on or anything. But crocheting... I can't wait til I hav etime to do it again. So relaxing for me. And I want to try Mo-Ez, where you put the design in at the same time, instead of later. It looks so neat and easy!

With Em and clinging, it does seem to be a bit more of a girl thing than boy. It is nice to be wanted again, but it is hard when they won't let go! Course, later we wish that they eneded us a bit more when they are gone!

:lmao: I hear ya there....I can tolerate it if it means I get to be outside in nice weather, otherwise, It's not so fun!!

Gosh am I glad this week is over

:grouphug:

What's the big plans for the weekend? I don't think we have much of anything going on this weekend, should be fairly quiet. It is chilly here so we won't want to be outside much, highs in the 40's and 50's all weekend.

I'm working classes tonight, Lock in from 11 - 1 am, and then tomorrow from 8:30 - 6:30, and also Sunday afternoon. Gee, how different is that? It is my one work weekend of the month guarding, so hopefully I will survive it!

All caught up again. Have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday, I hope!
