I just found this on the rumors page of thrillride.com, and I thought I would share it.

"I've known this for months because I have several good friends at Nick...but became official last month. Nickelodeon has CEASED all live television production at Nickelodeon Studios Florida. For reasons soon to be known, Nick has decided to cancel any live television production except for the remaining episodes of their Slimetime Live program and the network breaks for the Nickelodeon Games and Sports digital channel. They have said the studio tour will still continue on, as will the activities on the "Game Lab" portion at the end of the tour. However, the studios may play a major part in the new Nick attractions at Universal. Expect the Paramount Parks design group to be involved somehow due to the Nick Central areas that they have designed..."

I've not yet heard this rumor, and found it interesting. It may also be important to those parents who's kids are looking forward to seeing a Nick taping. Any employees at US know anything else? It kinda fits in with the previous rumors, but I don't know. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

I don't know about the production schedules although they have been shooting all of this past weekand it wasn't Slimetime. There is a new agreement in place between Nick and Universal that increases Nick's presence. It wouldn't make much sense that they were shutdown production, but anything is possible.

There are some other things in the works that are not yet for public consumption. However, I would not expect Paramount Parks to have any invlovement whatsoever. That's why Universal Creative is around.

Thanks for your insight. Like I said, I don't know the validity, I just wanted to see what others would say. There was also a rumor on the same site a week before that said that when Hanna Barberra was taken out soon, that A Nick attraction would go in there. Know anything about that Earl that you could share? Are these two rumors based off A same fact that we don't know about?

Yes, I do know about that one. But, sorry again, not for public consumption yet. I will say that there is SOME validity to that one.

It would be possible for HB to be converted to a Nick attraction since they are so close, but again, a rumor is a rumor and I wouldn't hold my breath until official word comes out.
