NEW RUMOR!!!! Kinda strange.

Well this is as weird as it gets.

My wife just returned from getting her hair done. The hairdresser tells her that Disney is going to be announcing a new Theme park on Super Bowl Sunday. Said park is rumored to be located in Frisco, Texas.

After I got done laughing I figured I would post here.

Any thoughts?

Where the heck is Frisco Texas? Did the HD mention her source of info? Not the kind of gossip you hear every day though.

Hey neighbor! I know isn't it crazy. My wife of course doesn't ask any details.

I said to her, "you do realize you complain about me being on the Disboards right?" She say, "yeah". I say, "well, you could have given me more to work with. She says "Exactly why I didn't ask!"

She got me there.

Well, it would sure get a lot of instant publicity if announced that way.

But we shouldn't discount hairdressers. After the CMs who man the boats at WDW, they are the second most reliable source.

Frisco is a northern suburn of Dallas - about 25 miles north, and growing rapidly.

But I too wouldn't know where they would put it - that IKEA alone scares me!

My next door neighbor has a young nephew who repairs sprinkler systems, and he was told by one of his customers (a proctologist) that the new resort is going to be in Frisco, CO...not Texas.

Probably the only true source of accurate information, though, is our DVC guides. Mine said I can use my points for a Space Shuttle voyage!

Frisco isn't far from Dallas to give you a point of reference. She didn't ask the source.

I'm not sure. You have to wait for the 7-month window. Every time I call MS, they just laugh, so I assume there's no availability at seven months.

Seems like oxygen should be included in the dining plan, though.

Hummm -- perhaps if it isn't DDE will be modified to include a Disney Oxygen Experience (DOE)...with a 20% discount of course.

Well seeing that the SB is only a few days away we will soon know.

As much as rumors fly I would have thought more of it would have been going around even with that Jim dude from that other website.

If they do build one in Texas, I for one think it will do pretty well.

Here is a way to tell if a rumor is false.....

If you spend a good amount of time on this and other websites and you hear a rumor from someone that does not spend anytime on any disboards or other websites then it is probably not true.


OR if you here about a rumor from a person making less than 10 bucks an hour (Disney Bus Driver, Person working at Cosmic Rays, Attendant on Rockin RollerCoaster, Custodian in Camp Minnie Mickey).... it is probaby not true
