So tonight I logged on to see if my dues showed up and they did so I paid them in full for the year, prorated of curse since half a year is gone. Then I decided to pay a principal payment as I plan on throwing as much as I can each week so I can pay it off within 1 year (that's my goal) so ..... I made sure I only paid $1000, used my Disney Chase Visa, My phone alerted me so I checked my card and yes dues are on there and the $1000 principal payment is there. I went to loan transaction history on My DVC Loans Overview and it shows that I paid the entire contract and I have a zero balance! I logged back into my Disney Chase card, this time on my laptop and the charge is only for $1000. Has anyone else seen this happen? I mean, I wouldn't mind getting a deal like this lol but it's probably a glitch. Who knows.

I'd give it a few days to see if it corrects itself. If not, I'd call my guide and ask him/her if I won a contest. If not, I'd ask to have it straightened out. asap. They will catch it at some point and I'd rather not get a big bill all at once due to missed payments.

Remember you can pay dues with Gift Cards which are discounted at various locations including Target for 5% off.

Yeah, this is probably due to the delay between the bank system and Disney. You should wit a couple of days!

So, a crazy similar (but different) thing happened with our DVC purchase last week. We purchased resale and were moving funds from one bank to another in preparation for the wire transfer. Anyway, we requested Bank A to withdraw $10K and deposit into Bank B. I checked the day it was supposed to be transferred, and Bank A had a deposit of $10K!! I quickly logged onto Bank B (which only had ~$50 to its name!) and there were no flags, no fines, nothing. Just 50 bucks.

First, I called Bank A and told them we must’ve won the ACH lottery because I’ve got an extra $10K ...and it didn’t come from me!!! They assured me it had indeed come from my $50 account (BTW- this was fully processed, not pending! That money was there!!), and since it had been finalized there’s nothing they can do! No disputing it! Next, I called Bank B and tried to figure it out- it took a long time, but they finally found a requested transfer for $10K out of Bank B (apparently my hubby had accidentally flipped the “to” and “from” fields), but not to worry because it had been denied for insufficient funds. Except that it hadn’t been... & again, there was nothing they could do.

I about died. $10K extra in my account and there’s nothing anyone can supposedly do!! Several days later, Bank A requested a $10K withdrawal... I knew they’d figure it out sooner or later.
Easy come. Easy go.
