"It has finally been confirmed today that the long-awaited (and long-postponed!) final ride in Seuss Landing will open this summer. Originally billed as Sylvester McMonkey McBean's Very Unusual Driving Machines, it was supposed to run on the very Seussian-looking monorail which loops right throughout Seuss Landing (including through the Circus McGurkus), but was cancelled when they couldn't get it to operate properly and then the manufacturer of the ride system went bust. Now it has been revived as a different ride utilising the same track but adding some all-new elements. Called The High-In-The-Sky Seuss-Trolley-Train-Ride, it will take guests on a journey into the world of various Dr Seuss books and characters. After embarkation (at the original station, above the Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers shop, which has lain unused since the park first opened) you will embark for a trolley ride into the 'Inking & Stamping Room' where the overhead Sneetches are looking for places to imprint their famous Sneetch Stars. Next it's the 'Star Wash' room, where guests will be immersed in a flurry of bubbles while their 'Stars' are cleaned, sprayed and sparkled (!). The trolley ride then continues outside with an overview of Seuss Landing, with a bird's eye view of the One Fish, Two Fish and Cat In The Hat rides, as well as a trip through Circus McGurkus. The fun and whimsical ride is aimed primarily at younger children, but is sure to be a big family favourite, although it remains to be seen how well it copes with crowds, as it is unlikely to be a high-capacity ride. It is a very welcome addition to the IoA scene, though."
