That would be weirdly goofy at a resort.
I would love to see that location as a signature. But with it located smack in the middle of 2 pools, I don't think that will happen.

Or an in between like Pepper Market. I keep coming back to the idea that I don't think WL will support 3 TS restaurants plus a CS and that the current CS isn't sufficient. Now if they do the Ft. Wilderness DVC and tie it in with transportation, that could make it viable. They could make the new restaurant a CS during the day and TS at night like Be Our Guest.![]()
Forget another restaurant - if Disney really want's to create a unique attraction for "Copper Creek" then how about Disney's first INDOOR pool????? This would certainly offer a very unique advantage to attract new "Copper Creek" buyers and certainly guarantee that the resort would be is high demand and booked solid during the months from December through March!!!! It would be the only site on DVC property that would virtually guarantee swimming during the "winter" months regardless of the weather! What do you think????
The big question would be if the pool is restricted to "Cooper Creek" guest only or would they have to allow "Boulder Ridge" guests access since it's on "Wilderness Lodge" property?????
Best wishes,
Dave
I'm really behind! I did not even know they were doing anything new at Wilderness Lodge, which is one my favorite resorts. Because we spend less time at Magic Kingdom since kids got older, we have been staying in the EPCOT area. What is the building with the green metal roof on the far side of the construction? It is fairly large building for a Quick service restaurant near a pool. But it does appear to have a wing that is for outdoor dining.

At this point, it's merely speculation; however, my personal belief is no, it won't be ready by the holidays. As you say, the build is progressing at Disney's typically methodical pace. Second, to use the building would mean opening up the fencing to create a traffic flow for guests, and given the cabins will still be under construction, I'm not sure they'd want folks wandering around or near that construction area. My thoughts are Disney will want to roll out everything as closely together as possible. Then again, Disney could have a plan to open the eatery, keep it walled off from surrounding construction, and allow tours of a model cabin nearby. That's just not where my money rests.do you think the new restaurant will be open by the holidays? The build process seems to be going very slow.
That's what I was thinking. Thanks! That's the existing Tenton Rentals building (bike and boat rental).
