Anything that can be booked at 7 months comes from my SAP+ (BLT resale), even VGF, because I only have 150 direct points (still kicking myself on that one) and we try and save the direct VGF for Riviera. If LSL turns out fantastic that will put a strain on that direct contact. That’s why I’m considering some VGF resale for the 11 month advantage.

There is no way that it is cheaper.... but particularly if a contract isn't easily available compare....

As far as I know, such a contract isn't available right now... but let's just say....

30 points VGF - $180 pp resale = $5,400 with say, 0 points 2025, 0 points 2026, 30 points 2027
Now.... $5,400 plus $750 Closing Costs, Plus $500 CAF Fee, and let's just say it's from Fidelity... $250 Fidelity Fee
$6,900 + Annual Dues 2026 about another $250ish = $7,150 total

compared to
30 points VGF Direct - $275 pp = $8,250 30 points 2025, 30 points 2026, 30 points 2027
$8,250 + $450 closing costs + Annual Dues around $250ish (but you're getting 2025 and 2026 points) = $8,950 total

Now, let's just say you rent out your 2025 and 2026 points at $20/pp (or needed that amount of points and now you don't have to pay someone else for them) $8950-1200= 7750

I'd imagine that VGC compares very nicely - probably even more so....

I love this. I tried to recreate it with BW 50pts and it was still almost double for direct or my math is off. ;( I like your calculations so much better!
