I'm not sure I'd haggle over $385 for even a contract of this size, if it's something I really wanted. That amount spread out over the life of the contract is less than $10 a year.

Rejected with full price counter. Broker was very nice and offered to help negotiate. I had a busy morning and by the time I responded with an alternate offer it already had another offer accepted.

Again I know 100 is low. If this had been 100-150 points my offer would've been stronger. The hunt continues.

Yep a very similiar one was posted. I put in an offer and fully expect to be rejected and likely not as nicely this time

So this is an interesting one.. a broker I made an offer with previously contacted me and asked if I would be interested in a similiar listing which was more points. I kind of off handed said I’d have to be at $90 per point seller pays MF for that and she took that as an offer which I fully did not expect.

Seller countered at 100pp buyer pays fees. I countered at $95. Then she responded and made sure I was OK with the fact that they were an international seller. When I found that out, I said the only way I would move forward if it was the original offer of $90 per point seller pays MF.

Over the weekend they accepted another offer.

$100pp is my target which is nice that they got to that price for me but for an international seller at this point it’s just not worth it for me.

It’s an odd market at the moment where the price you can get may vary wildly by UY and size. I know it’s always more expensive for contracts at 100 and smaller, but for some resorts even 100-150 are much scarcer than 200+.
