No, nothing so complicated. I offered $18500 rather than a per point offer.

It was really high in 2022. I got my $125 contract RoFRd as a seller.

So, since then, it’s gone way back done.

I bought my resale SSR for $70. I was a little late to get in on the $60-ish contracts. But yes, It's been wild ups and downs. Same with Poly over the last couple of years.

Beginning of last year. Admittedly it was really low and there was haggling. It also was a mid-to-large contract. But if you go check ROFR for Jan-ish 2024, you should see others "around" that price. The $60-ish ones were a while before that. My M.O. is simply to hover until I can find / negotiate something that is a very good buy. My last contract was for Aulani at $78 last November.

me too. I was pretty shocked when I got the email from the broker. oh well. I checked the ROFR thread before offering and there is a small contract listed as waiting to pass that went for below $100/point, so I thought maybe I had a chance. I want more points but don't NEED more points. We'll see. If another similar sized one comes along I will prob offer. I'd rather more VGF points than SSR but still toying with what my next add on might be

25 points at $12 more is only $300 bucks - and contracts this small are rare at any resort…so you have to ask yourself if it’s worth $300 to miss out on a contract you really want…

It's nominal, that's for sure. For me, I didn't want it that much

I may singlehandedly keep this thread active in the coming weeks as we’re aiming to become first-time DVC owners but are not at all in a hurry. We’ve done our homework and have amounts we think are fair at SSR and BLT depending on points status and will wait patiently for someone to accept an offer. Helps that we’ve just returned from a 6 day WDW trip and have no immediate plans to return, so again, not desperate.

What’s the amount your willing to pay for 200 pts at BLT

Keep looking. Keep making offers. Something will come through. This is a really good time of year to be a buyer.

My one purchase for the season was AUL at $78pp for 100 points. I probably should've been quicker when I saw a 100 point CCV contract pop up for $113pp a couple of months back, but I was too slow. There have been some really, really good deals on BLT recently as well. BLT, with low prices, great location, long contract life, (admittedly a so-so pool), but a new refurb going on, is a great buy right now. But these deals are out there.

What do you consider a good buy at BLT

I think that a $75pp offer might fall in the “wasting people’s time” range…..

Maybe but I wouldn’t pay 75 pp for riveria . I don’t understand how these are holding any value . It shouldn’t even be considered a vacation club with one resort
