FWIW, renting through the board sponsor is very very easy.Just full 24 points. I'm not going until 2026 so 23 won't be useful for me, not quite ready to delve into renting...
I have not found it as seamless as you, and they recently devalued their point payouts.FWIW, renting through the board sponsor is very very easy.
Have you tried David’s as well?I have not found it as seamless as you, and they recently devalued their point payouts.
I haven’t, if I try renting next year I might.
I would like to amend my initial to statement to clarify that getting something for the banked points (even as little as $12pp) could still provide value if someone is getting a contract with banked points that they don’t believe they will use and the dues have been paid.I have not found it as seamless as you, and they recently devalued their point payouts.
I just used https://rentals.*******.com/confirmed-reservations and was flawless... so far.
If there is in fact a commercial rental crackdown, I could see both CCV and VGF dipping, but I’m not sure how likely it is that commercial entities own small point contracts. My add-on-itis is getting the best of me. I'm on the hunt for a CCV contract and a VGC contract. And a small point VGF even if it is direct.

Kinda glad I didn’t wait for the deals that were supposedly coming when annual dues posted. The list prices from October and November seem quite a bit better than what I’ve seen the past month. Though I am much more casually browsing now that I am done buying.Could really do with a load of contracts to appear. As currently anything slightly interesting is selling for over value at full asking price (compared to averages) and quickly
Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like patience may pay off in that case. That works for me since the only contract I would like to have is CCV for a trip this December which I would like to book the cabins. But, I'm hoping that those are pretty easy to book at the 7-month window since I have enough points from my other contracts. If not, we have beach club booked already as a backup. If there is in fact a commercial rental crackdown, I could see both CCV and VGF dipping, but I’m not sure how likely it is that commercial entities own small point contracts.

Agree. I've made a few SSR offers, but all the sellers have been unwilling to budge. Not even a counteroffer. Just flat-out rejecting the offer, even when stripped or nearly stripped.Could really do with a load of contracts to appear. Just going to keep fishing until I hook a deal because I'm not paying $90+ for a nearly stripped SSR contract.
For me the SSR calculus is this - do I want to buy another low priced, low MF contract at a place I typically never stay and simply hope I can use the points elsewhere (and honestly, this mostly has worked out in the past), or do I want to pay more (or have less points) at place where I really like to stay (typically MK area)? The one SSR contract I bought--and might now sell--I got for $70pp.Iv probably been a bit greedy due to some of the amazing deals on here. But $95+ even with full/banked points just feels to much for SSR.
Similar thoughts here. My SSR are purely SAP. But for $95/point, I can grab BRV or AKL - both resorts I love and would use the 11 month advantage at regularly.
