NEW Quick Service Dining Card

Ok, so these are also do not expire so that is awesome. If you do not use it all, it is there for next time. And since we drink water mostly this is a much better deal than on site in my option. We are looking at Doubletree and this would be great. Wonder how you book, we would use Mousesavers rate for the breakfast. Can we call Disney to add it? Hmmmm

I don't know how you book it. I just saw the article and thought it was cool. If you figure it out, come back and fill us in.

Is there a minimum night requirement? I know the dining cards are based off number of days on the ticket, but could I book a package for our first night or so at a participating hotel w/ 10 day tickets to get the cards, then move onsite? We are looking at a fall trip after our APs expire and this looks better than free dining if we could still move to a discounted onsite room.

I have no idea. The article made it sound like it was new, but as PP has found, it looks like it's been around for awhile. I wish we had more details as well. It's definitely worth an email/call to Dreams Unlimited for a quote. It's interesting that it is tied to number of days on your ticket instead of nights.

It says three day TICKETS are required and you can add up to 10 nights value on a card per person. It says nothing about nights booked.

You have to call Disney to book. I might call just to see but was told it would be hard as the reps do not usually ever book off site places. Hmm.

I think you'd fare better with a TA on this one, and Dreams Unlimited at least knows what it is. It's a no obligation quote. I don't work for them or anything, but I just think you'll have better luck with a TA. Disney phone reps probably will have no idea what this is.

Has anyone actually purchased the dining card??? I am very curious about it!

I am not going til next year so I have not called but I just saw it says you get your tickets and dining cards when you check into your hotel, so how the heck do you make fast passes?

I don't think any of the hotels that get the dining card qualify for the 60 days out FP. Anyone can book them at 30.

But you still have to have the tickets even at 30. Surely they send the number electronically, so you can load them to MDE.
