New Promotion - I'm so excited!

The GC is included in the promotion, as well as the good neighbor hotels. I just booked a package today for May 29-June3rd for PPH.
If you go to the Disney website and search for a 5 night package with 5 day park hoppers the promotion will come up on the quote.
I did call reservations anyway though because I had questions. She was surprised that I knew about the promotion because it is kind of "hidden" on their website. Why, i don't know? She said I was only the second person all day that she had talked to that already knew about the promotion before she told them. And this was at 3pm!

On another note - to any AP holders: I asked if any new AP rates would come out for May. She didn't know but said that AP holders COULD book this promotion package. They simply take off the price of the tickets. My sister is doing this since she has an AP, for the same 5 nights as I mentioned above. With taxes and resort fee it comes to $155ish a night. Not bad!
$100 GC = $100 Gift Card

Hmmm....we have a package through Dreams Unlimited for July already booked. Are there blackout dates? Will they automatically apply this deal if not?

Yes this is what I am asking too. If you book and then something like this comes about, do they validate the new offer?? I hope someone chimes in and knows the answer.

I just emailed my TA; I'll let you all know what I find out.

I priced our trip on Disneyland.com, the offer came up, etc.....Apparently it would reduce our trip by $1800. Wowzers. Hope DU can help us out. Hope I did that right.

Oh good grief I knew that! Sorry! Not sure of the answer though. :)

No worries:) I know the abbreviations can get confusing sometimes.

Also, I was pricing out dates yesterday for a 4 night stay no knowing today the new promo would come out. Our trip now would be 5 nights and almost $700 less. GREAT PROMO!!

Oh wow, that is an awesome deal for those of you going in the next few months, I hope you all get a chance to get in on it and have some extra Disney fun!! The only thing better than three days at Disneyland is MORE than three days at Disneyland!! ;)

I also hope this becomes an annual thing, it would be SO great if they ran a promotion like it when we return in a few years. :cool1:

I just booked for April 27 - May 3  at the GCH

I phoned Disney first, we have two families going and one family already has all of their parkhopper tickets through airmiles....so unfortunately directly Disney couldn't just add one ticket to each deal. (My DH and I only have 1 parkhopper through airmiles, and we still needed to buy 2 parkhoppers)

SO We booked through GetAwayToday.com, we removed all of the parkhopper tickets from the package - but obviously could n't check out, So then just added 1 - 5 day parkhopper child back to one reservation, and one 5 day parkhopper adult. And it all worked!!!! If we booked through Disney between both famillies, we would have had 4 extra parkhoppers LOL

My DU TA got back to me last night at 10:35 PM. Can you beat that service? Anyhow, she will rebook us but Disney will charge a $50 change fee. But that's chump change when we look at what we're saving.

If you have a package, I'd email your TA just to be on the safe side and let them know you're interested in the deal.

So excited about this!!! Saving money feels so good!:rotfl:

What airline are you able to use miles to buy tickets? I know you can do it through hilton, but I used up most of those points already.

We used Airmiles, it's a Canadian points card - I earn the majority of my points by shopping at Safeway....so we used it for our flights, and my SIL and Family managed to have enough for all their parkhopper tickets. I just had enough for the flight and 1 ticket! Which worked out perfectly, b/c as I mentioned it allowed us to each book with the new promotion.

If we are planning to go in mid Sept do you think we should wait to book with this new promo until after april 30th? why april 30th, because they are offering $150 gift card as well right now and i bet they will do another offer like that. do you think you can combine the new promo with the extra gift card offers?

anyone going before april 30th and book with the new promo know? did you also get the extra GC?

I originally booked a room only with an AAA discount for 5 days in July at the GC. We were going to purchase the 5 day hoppers on the website with the $40 savings. I just saw the promotion and called this morning and saved $1010.68 plus I now receive all those little extras for purchasing a package and paying with my visa. I did not have to pay any fees for doing this either.

Today is a happy day :banana:

Holy smokes....that is a HUGE savings!!! COngrats to you!

DOes anyone know if the 5 for 3 is good for suites too?

the deal can also be booked through expedia - I tried calling Disneyland but their computers were down - just trying to see who gives the best rate between Disneyland, Expedia and GAT

Yep it's true :cool1::cool1:

We originally had booked the DLH for 4 nights in July and I was surprised to hear that AP’s could book a package deal for the room only. All I had to do was give the CM our AP numbers and she was able to book the package without tickets. :goodvibes It’s been soo long since we had all of the little extras that come along with the package deal. Not to mention saving some $$$ :thumbsup2

I am confused on the concept of a 'package without tickets.' Isn't the whole idea of a 'package' - or at least it has been when I have bought packages - the fact that both the room and tickets are included? If there are no tickets involved, then how is it a package? Wouldn't it just be a room-only reservation then, or is there something else included with the room that makes it a package (like other perks of some kind)? I just got befuddled momentarily because I didn't know there was a such a thing as ticket-less package that Disney was selling. Is this a new thing? Is it worth looking into (I have an AP so wouldn't need tickets)?

I was a little confused too... When I called, I told them that I had originally booked a room for 4 nights at the discounted AP rate. I asked if I could make a reservation using the book 3 get 2 free promotion and the CM said that AP holders can book room only "packages" and get the perks that come along with it (early entry for Toon Town, priority seating vouchers for DCA, lanyards w/pin, downtown disney fun card). I had to give our AP #'s. But, instead of only paying a one night deposit and pay the balance at check out your "package" must be paid for 30 days prior to arrival.

I hope this helps...

Yes, that makes a lot more sense! Thanks! Because the lanyard, DTD fun card, TTMM voucher and the priority seating vouchers are included, then that makes it a package for sure. I was thinking that it literally was being called a package with nothing but the hotel room involved and that made no sense!:lmao:

Interesting...I booked the package without tickets today (AP'S) but they did not ask for my AP #. I wonder why? Now I'm just struggling with is it worth the extra money. I already have Ent. rate rooms booked at HOJO's. The HOJO reservation is literally 1/3 the cost of Disneyland Hotel. What a dilemma! (yes, I know, there are much worse dilemma's to have);)
