today when i went on i got a gun that had no laser dot when it shot...well it wwas there but you couldn't see it unless you shot it at something a foot away from you :sad2: i was just wondering if anyone has had this problem with their gun or any other problems because somethimes the gun you get can really decide what kind of score you can get

I have never been able to see what I am shooting at. I just shoot away at everything. But, then again, I am just a mom, what do I know?

lol, I had to laugh when I read this, because I do the same thing!!

Actually that is a common problem. I usually report it but most times they don't fix it right away.

no i dont mean that u can't tell what ur shooting at
if u caan't see what ur shooting then u need practice....what i mean is the gun laser actually is so dim it wont even travel as a full beam at certain lengths...and some aliens u want to shoot from a good distance but if u get one of these crappy guns kiss ur good score goodbye

You described the same problem as me in your inital post. How are you able to see if you're aiming correctly if you can't see the laser? It doesn't have anything to do with practice.

We've gotten crappy guns sometimes. You just ride again.

I've dealt with this situation, myself. I know in MY case I knew I was aiming correctly because I would max out, or get extremely high scores. Sometimes the guns you're "stuck with" have a very dim lazer, and even when I aimed at a blank wall after the training area, or at my hand, you could barely see the dot, if even at all. Sometimes when I'm shooting, I hold down the trigger and shake the gun so my laser would stand out from everyone else's, and yet I still couldn't see it anywhere. In the end, the laser wasn't strong enough to ring up many points at all, and I was left with a downright poor score (compared to what I'm used to). So it's happened to the best and worst of us....and my point is: it DOES happen.

You need to have some crappy guns or I wouldn't have anything to blame my crappy score on. :o

another mom who just "shoots at everything" on MIB reporting in...

Will be doing that many times hopefully in about 4 days!!! Woo hoo!

yeah i normally max out but in that case i only got around 500,000
the person next to me said wow your amazing i just looked away and sighed

I've had one that didn't work at all before, and ones that worked as you described. I usually get near 400K and have had scores under 100K with a bad gun.

i went through that problem... and it sucks... that is when i said that my friends jynxed me... but really, my gun was screwed up

i ended up with 15,000 points at the end of the thing... i usually get areound 700,000

LOL I know the feeling! People are all impressed, and you're just vexed that you did "badly." Say you get something like 479,300 and they ask, "What's your best score?" And you're like, "All 9's..." They're shocked...maybe in disbelief because you aren't exactly close to that score, and so it's rather embarrassing. I hate it when they ask that question though...I'd like them to comment, and then ask for a tip, and move on. One person knowing the difference between the usual and "failing" scores is plenty! ;)
