Hi, you can use it any way you like!! But, Yes, it can be used as an iron on. I prefer to use Amy's transfers - www.amymickey.com

I find hers to be the BEST transfers anywhere - not only are they EASY to use - there is NO flipping, you can use them on ANY color - so you don't need light or dark transfers, etc..... plus, she sends a very detailed instruction sheet. She is also another DISigner here.
