New Premier Annual Pass

Thanks Phamton

As you can see we'll be there in under 3 weeks so if the upgrade & renewal prices are right we will consider purchasing

Paul

Is the pass still on the agenda, or have they come up with lots of issues that either with stop it from happening or need time to resolve.

Paul

It will be for sale the first week in September. $279.95 plus tax.

What is express pass and I think I heard something about going to the front of the line kind of like a fast pass. Is that included in the pass. And sorry for not having any clue but does thst mean both the park with all the rides and the other? Thanks to anyone who lets me know

There will be advantages to the pass such as unlimited express after either 3 or 4 PM. I'm not sure what time the express will start. Last I heard they were still working out all the details and i haven't heard about the final decsions on the pluses of the pass.

Thanks Phamton

Did the benefits stay the same as to what you said a few months ago, and is there any news on renewal or upgrade rates.

Thanks

Paul

I believe the benifits are the same as mentioned in the first post but some things may have been changed such as the time that express starts. I still don't know about renewal rate but if I had to guess I bet it will be about $100 more than the other APs to renew, but that is only a guess. Last I heard, they were going to let other APs upgrade. I expect it would be $100 to upgrade from the preferred to the premier. But I am guessing on this based on the price difference.

Another change to happen soon is that Power Passes will soon be available with Flex-Pay. The Premier won't be available on FlexPay.

Thanks we'll probably upgrade when we renew in December

Paul

Well it looks like it will be available on Flexpay after all.

the Flexpay is a great option for families. but if we upgrade to the Premier, it's going to double our renewal rate.

I see that the flexipay section has gone from the Premier Pass page

Flexpay IS a great option and makes the passes a lot more affordable to everyone. That's one of the main reasons I get so irritated with Disney...no flexpay for their passes. :furious:

I was told that flexpay would not be available for the Premier AP and was surprised to see it on the website. Looks like it may have been a mistake on the website. I did hear that Power passes would soon be available on FlexPay though.

no doubt. we use flexpay for our BG/SW passes. we use a debit card so each month they just take the money from our checking account. Universal's renewal rate is so family friendly, it feels like we're ripping them off when we renew.

it's kind of a slap in the face when we go to plunk down our money at WDW to renew, considering the lack of benefits in comparison. but Mickey loves us. :earsboy:

Fliers should be going out within the next week to AP holders offering an upgrade to the Premier pass for $100. (If you have a power pass you can upgrade for around $160.) Your expiration date will remain the same though. So if your pass expires in one month it would still expire at that time or if you have the 2 year pass, it won't expire until the end of the 2 years once you upgrade to the Premier.

There will be only a limited number of Premier passes that Universal will sale and once that number is reached for the year, no others will be sold. You will have unlimited express after 4:00 PM. One free non-peak HHN ticket, upgrade on rooms, free Citywalk club access, 8 bottles of water in a year, free valet parking, and several other benefits such as priority seating at restaurants. It will not be available on the Flexpay option and if you are already on a Flexpay contract, you would have to pay off that contract before upgrading.

Still no word on what the renewal rate will be.
