POP FRIDGE SWAP!!!​

Hi everyone!! Jtoll has been doing such a fantastic job at managing the swap but it's time for her to pass the torch. I will now be managing the swap from here on out; so, if anyone has any questions or wants to participate please PM me from now on!!

Just to let everyone know this swap has been going strong since FEB 2007!!! Let's keep it going strong!!!

HOW THE FRIDGE SWAP WORKS:

THe swap is now FREE!! As for getting the fridge to one another, you can either do a face-to-face swap, or leave the fridge at luggage service If you leave the fridge at luggage services they require that you have the next person's "Name, Arrival Date, and Reservation Number" on the box (and if you have a phone number that could never hurt).

The latest report on the fridge is from TKDisneylover:

"Hi Jen & Everyone!

Just wanted to say thanks to Jen for running the swap! We just got home last night from POP and everthing went smoothly with the swap for our trip. The fridge was waiting for us in luggage services (thanks WDWdean also who had the fridge before us, all info was accurate so the cast member had no problem finding the fridge with our name on it), the cast member brought it right out to us, no problems. The fridge looks brand new and worked great keeping our water, etc. nice and cold.

What a wonderful idea to start such a great program. We were on a budget trip and the savings of not having to pay for a fridge rental truly helped.

By the way, we had a great trip and enjoyed our stay at POP!"

UPDATE!!!!
mama R was nice enough to contribute a toaster to our swap, so we now have a toaster as well!!!!

Here is the message I received:

"Hi there just back tonight and letting you know all is well with the fridge. I also bought a brand new toaster for our room at the Walmart there and have left that right in the bottom shelf of the fridge for the next swap. I hope others can use it also."

UPDATE --FRIDGE FOUND

The fridge has been found and is back on schedule. Sorry to all of the swappers who didn't get to use it. If anyone has a problem in the future please let me know right away as it is easier to track it down as soon as it goes missing. Thanks to all of those who helped.

Thanbks so much for organising this amazing swap. I have just returned from 12 days at pop in Jan and the fridge was brilliant. thanks again. It was there waituing for me when i arrived and hopefully the person after me received the fridge as welll
