New polynesian bungalows?!

So I just recently found about the new bungalows and villas at the Polynesian resort. I was wondering if anyone knows if they are only for DVC members or are they like the Contemporary bay lake rooms and can be rented out to non DVC members? These look amazing and where we want to stay for our next trip I am guessing they are pricey which is fine. I really hope they are not just for DVC members. If anyone knows prices that would be great or how you even get the chance to book them when you can only book so far in advance.

Hi, I stayed in the Bungalows (on points) in May and they are fabulous! If you go on YouTube, their are numerous videos that give tours of the inside. You can't beat the view of Wishes from the back deck and to top it off, the music from wishes gets piped into the deck I just booked a family in a bungalow for one night in September on a cash rate and it came out to be $2,733.75 for one night.

Anyone can book a room at any DVC resort - they're not restricted to members.

If you are paying cash, you have to call in to Disney to book the bungalows, you can't book them online. The cost will vary by season, but the lowest rate is about $2500 a night.

Thanks so much you guys. Good to know I can book them. Makes sense you have to call to book. Whew $2500 a night is a lot. We usually stay at the Deluxe and prices aren't an issue but thats a hefty price per night. Especially since we go for at least 7 nights. Hmmm.

And for $2500 a night you would expect more than two real beds. Only one king, one queen, one queen sleeper and two murphy beds (smaller than twin, larger than crib).

I agree, the bungalows look amazing and while it would be nice to stay in one, $2500/nt is a little steep .
