New Pocast App. $5.95 I think not. It cost $655.95

::yes::

And I would literally buy it again tomorrow, if the one I have now was to somehow meet its demise.

:)

It is crack, I tell you, crack!

I agree with the previous posters...

I left mine at home today and think I could croak any minute! :thumbsup2

I haven't seen my Tracfone cell phone in over two weeks.
Hasn't bothered me much at all.

I agree when I had my regular cell phone, it was really no big deal. Now that I have the iPhone I can't put it down even though the least used aspect of it is the actual phone part. Even my anti-technology wife "wouldn't mind having one".

Wow, remember when all phones did was allow you to talk to someone else??

Since I'm not eligable for an upgrade for my current Cell Phone and I don't have an Ipod touch, the cost of buying an IPhone will be $650 with tax, and then $5.95 for the App.

Oh yea, I forgot about the additional $20 per month 3G network cost and the additional GPS cost.

I don't understand the logic. It would be like someone without a car complaining that gas costs $20,002 because before they can buy the gallon of gas they have to buy the $20,000 car it goes in or someone without a home complaining that a kitchen table costs $180,500 because before they can buy the $500 table they first have to buy the $180,000 house (insert whatever car or home price you would like, mine are only examples).

As for the "Is the iPhone worth it" debate, it usually goes around in circles. If the iPhone is a product you want, can afford, and can justify the price of it is worth it to you. If those three criteria are not met it probably isn't worth it to you.

The phone is neither worth it nor not worth it full stop. It is either worth it to you or not worth it to you.

Don't think you can afford an iPhone? Give something up. Don't eat out for lunch every day. Pack a lunch instead. Stop going to Starbucks for coffee. Drive less. Walk more. Downsize your cable TV. Drop the HD channels and movie channels. Maybe even think about dropping your landline.

In other words, if you REALLY want an iPhone, you CAN find a way to come up the bucks!

You could even go out and get a part time job. Seriously. It's worth it. Once you get an iPhone, you'll wonder how you got along without one.

I don't want a lawnmower, so I don't buy a lawn, or the house that goes on top of it.

I don't want to spend money on an iPhone that, so far, has been unnecessary in my life.

I am not complaining about having a "simplified" life.

Comes from living in Maine, where we live in "gentile poverty"!

:rotfl2::lmao: Speak for yourself! :lmao: Down in this part of Maine we like our gadgets! ;)

Seriously though, if you (anyone, not just addressing mainegal here) don't need an iPhone, then don't buy one. Not sure why this has become such an issue. :confused3

Sure, I will buy the DIS app the first day it is available, but I have been living happily for many years without it...

I think I'd rather do those things and use the money to pay bills, thank you very much. Kudos to all of you who can afford it, but I'm not going to go into debt for it. I already have enough of that!:headache: But it's okay. I've never played with an iphone, so I don't know what I'm missing!:rolleyes1

Nothing wrong with that logic.
