New Planning DVD

I found the hosts insincere and very non-Disney. :sad2:

The super-cute babies and children in it :teeth: are what save this DVD. I totally agree with those posters discussing the "jumpiness" of the show. Even before I read these posts, I watched the DVD. I actually mentioned to my husband that I would need my Dramamine if I watched all of it at one time. (It reminds me of some of my taping, though :rotfl: )

I'm 44 and I also thought the new DVD was great. It was such a breath of fresh air to see the new rides and a different format that the last few years.

We received it on Wednesday and my kids and I have watched it 5 times already. The special features were fun as well.

Plus, it's free! Just can't complain for that price...

I can best sum up the new planning DVD this way. I gave last years DVD to a friend the week before the new one arrived. I wish now I would have waited, watched the new one once, and then give it to my friend and kept the old one. I don't care for the constant jumping from one scene to another. And yes, I am a 45 year "old fart" also. :earsboy:

It does use a lot of quick cuts, but it has much higher production values than prior years' videos. As I said in another thread, a very "Travel Channel" feel.
