I have been curious on the new Planet Hollywood. I'm interested in seeing how it's be renovated. So I figured I would make reservations since I decided to get to Orlando a day early. Staying off property for the day. Then I will be on the DDP. I looked at the menu and it's OK. I'm more interested in seeing the changes than the menu. This meal will be out of pocket. I could just get apps. At the same time, there are so many new places at Disney springs. Don't know what to do. We do have ADR for Paradiso 37 when on the DDP.

What are your suggestions...
Go and have apps
Can you go in to just to look around?
Other Disney Springs restaurants (not too expensive please)

I'm glad the OP asked this question. I've been wondering that myself. As a local I never even think of PH when planning a meal at DS because of all the years of their decline. Wondering if its now back to a level that we should consider it again.

I firmly believe that everyone should judge for themselves. I also read reviews with a grain of salt and only really look for a trend. PH has gotten consistently miserable reviews since it reopened. It is a pass for us.
We are going to try Paddlefish in spite of the mixed reviews and judge for ourselves.

We are doing lunch because my husband is a fan Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and wants to try some of the Guy dishes. I would rather do Morimoto or one of the other restaurants but the apps look fun.

I will be with my 3 kids. I think I would feel a bit odd going to the bar with 3 kids.

Guess no one is raving about the food.

I agree that everyone has their own taste and the reviews will reflect different tastes. I was eager to try Morimito. The kids and I thought is was OK. We thought we had better in NY. Glad we tried it but would probably not go back since there's so many options in Disney Springs.

Just curious, what most are raving about at Disney Spring? If you had to rank, which Top 5 choices. Maybe I will give one of those a try.

We were at Planet Hollywood last week and the food was good...the place is pretty bland as far as decor goes (we thought) and service left something to be desired.

We are dining here in November, hubby's request! This is the resteraunt I think I'm the least excited about!

LOL! Me too! But it is the only thing DH has requested. I'm sure it will be great - anything I didn't have to cook or clean up after is usually great!
