Had a very nice dinner at Spoodles on our last night of vacation. Got to talk to Chef Dan about some vegetarian dining options. During our talk, I mentioned how disappointed my family had been with our last pizza (in August) from the pizza window and the disappearance of the calzones and meatball sandwiches. He told me that the calzones and sandwiches were not coming back but that he had changed the pizza recipe and was now using fresh, hand-tossed dough and not the pre-made shells. Unfortunately, we were leaving the next day so I can't report on the pizza itself but I plan to try it on our next visit in May.
