Thanks a bunch! She said appointments start at 8 and said come 15 minutes early so that is why I was wondering what to do.

The CMs do not show up to work until 8, and we need an hour to prepare the league. The BBB may take appts at 8, but definitely not TPL. I'm sorry you received wrong information. We will never open before 9 (since Adventureland is never open before 9).

I do know that the 9 am appts will be able to stand at the rope at the entrance to Adventureland (before the land opens) and we'll be coming out early to get them so they can start their experience at 9, instead of just checking in at 9.

Sorry, 9:15 appts will not be let into the park early. You should have enough time to enter the park and get to Adventureland by 9:05.

The boys are very excited and I have to admit I am too.

I am very excited to read reports once we open next week! We have been fighting for the last month to tell guests this is NOT the BBB, but once the reports come out, hopefully that will be clear.

We are so excited as CMs, and the test groups yesterday seemed to have a blast - there was sword fighting, laughing, and lots of guests talking like pirates. This is the best job in the world!

Maybe I'll see you there. My DD13 is scheduled for 9/4 at 4:15. We're going to have her makeup done, then LTT for dinner, followed by MNSSHP. And the best part -- IT'S A FULL MOON THAT NIGHT! Let's hope it's a relatively clear night because I think a full moon will really put people in the Halloween spirit.

I believe they said 45 minutes to 1 hour. We have an ADR for 5:30 at LTT, so even if me or my mother needs to run over there while she's finishing up, we didn't think a 4:15 would be a problem (and we know to get there 15 minutes early). What's your estimate of how long it will take? Should I be worried?

Oh no, do not be worried at all - you'll be fine!!

I was just curious how long they were telling guests. The different looks greatly vary in length... the Empress (far left) takes about 30 minutes (for the whole experience) whereas the Cursed and Jack w/multiple eyes (middle two) could take well over an hour depending on the Pirate Master and the skin type of the new recruit. Since it varies so much I was trying to figure out what they were telling the guests. 45-60 is a good median.

We're scheduled for the Empress so it shouldn't take too long (by your estimation). Also DD is 13, so it's not like she'll squiggle and flop around while they're trying to put on her makeup. She'll be a well-behaved Empress, promise.

Photopass will be there, but not like the BBB. They will not be taking pictures while makeup is being applied, however, others are welcome to take pictures during this process.

They will take their picture in the Treasure Cache - advertised as the secret room. Families will NOT be allowed to use cameras in this room. When you arrive at the purser to pay the League dues they will already have your picture printed out for you, they will not be added to a Photopass card.

Yep - 90 days (plus 10 if you're on property)!
