LOL. Yup same thing happened to me. missing one side. I guess we will have to play again.

It's probably a bug. I'm going to wait until they fix it before I face level 3 again. It took me about 20 tries the first time.

Egad, I can't wait to go home to try this. Unfortunately, my employer's
firewall doesn't like disney.go.com websites. Unsuitable material? :rotfl2:

Could be, hopefully it's not giving random codes. :confused3

I beat the first level, and it took me to the attraction description on the WDW website. What the heck? How do I get to the second level?
If this happens hit back on your browser.

I beat it once now and have some coments. It appears this game can only be played one time per IP - I am not possitive but it sets the codes and at one point I could not get the game to open had to clear all catch and history, coockies you name it. I rebooted and still had preserved my codes. I will now try at work which has a sort of revolving IP on a daily basis.

My opinion on defeating the 3rd level is as follows:

Lots of luck and I agree with the comments of Notazoo 7 shots knock out the krackle but don't kill them or assure another does not appear under you. the Fog slows you down and restarting after activating the idol (skull rock) is not easy

I found doing bottom left first move to bottom left second then uper left and justhead right for the last on upper right. The sea monsters there seam to be the worst.

Best of luck to everyone!

I cannot find out how to get to Level 2. I finished the first level, clicked continue, and took me somewhere else.

Grrrrr! In level 3, I can't move fast enough. And of course, you have to actually bump into the stupid idols. Which means you're sitting there waiting for the sea monster to attack you while you're trying to move away from the darn thing.

:furious:

*EDIT* yay! I beat it! :goodvibes

Okay - I have played level 3 ten times and seen nothing that looks like an idol. I am just sailing around playing cat and mouse with the monster. Can anyone please explain what I am looking for?

Thanks!

I've beaten the game a few times and have a tips for level 3.

1. If the kraken is no where near you and you can outrun it, don't shoot it. It will keep on following you, so you know where it is. If you do outrun it, it'll just disappear.

2. Do not keep on going on the same heading, change up your direction a little, but still heading towards your objective. He has a habit of popping up right in front of your ship if you keep to the same heading.

And most importantly,

3. Before making your trench run to bump the island, let the kraken surface and shoot him. It will buy you some time since it takes awhile for him to resurface. If you haven't seen him for a little, do not run into the island. He will be sure to surface right when you can't move or steer.

They look just like skull rock and they turn green when you activate them.

this game reminds me of the Kelloggs game with the poor controls but at least the priize is cool and limited but not as limited as costum.

If it is one per IP I recomend trying hotels coffee shops or a library for a different IP to use.

ADD: the codes do reset once you beat the game you can get more but not untill you beat it

ok i beat the game once but now im on level 3 again to get the other side of the boat but the kraken always apears either way to close to escpae or right wher i am so if anybody could gift me 1 galeon side it would be apreciated

Well I just now managed to complete level 3 for the 2nd time, and got a fresh set of codes, without any cache clearing or anything, so that could be a problem your end. I do know you have to click restart the game twice, first time it just brings the same page up. Second time restarts properly.

Tips here are good, shoot kraken as soon as you can see, so you can offload and get that other 2 shots in to make him disappear. If they appear behind the idol its a bit easier, offload the first volley while bumping, and move backwards. its slow backwards after a bump but you should have enough time to get 2 more shots in and then you're clear for a short time.

This is probably THE most exasperating and infuriating game I have ever played. Disney certainly have developed a sadistic streak lately. Like the green car quest, maybe they want to promote the ships "exclusivity", but it can go too far.

I have never sworn so much in my life. I dont think I will play it too many more times.

AHHHH! I did level 1, but I'm finding level 2 impossible! There are too many ghost ships attacking you at once, and you can't attack back half the time! I don't suppose there's a donation thread somewhere?
I've played level two so many times that I've memorized the first two item locations.
Spoiler:Start level two by heading north for the first item, then head south east for the second beside an island.

Or... you could just follow the compass. That's easier, methinks.

I'm at Level 3 too and am having a hard time with the Kracken. The controls aren't really bothering me as I'm used to then WASD setup.

Ok I been working on this:

I think the best tip in level 3 is let the kraken follow you. There is only one apparent at a time so if he is above water and following you at least know hes not going to pop up in front.

Try this: go up from start and bump first idol. If you're lucky, the kraken will appear a short time after and behind you, giving you time to steer away and move to the right. If he does, adjust your speed so he stays at a consistant distance behind you as you go around the rock to the idol far right. As you approach the idol, give the kraken a volley, and then finish him with another two shots as you bump or just after.

this will give enough time for you to adjust course for the idol at the bottom. Steer for him, and again, if you're lucky, the kraken will reappear anywhere but in front of you. Do the same thing, keep same distance and shoot as you approach the idol. Bump it and finish him off. Then its just a short race to the last idol, avoiding the kraken if you're lucky.

This is hands down the best advice so far. I have finally gotten the hang of level three and can beat it probably 2 out of every 3 attempt. My advice is look at the suggestions above and remember 7 shots without the Kraken going under puts him down for a bit. Also change your direction up.....more times than not he will pop up behind you if you do this right. And lastly....if he is tailing you don't get to far ahead so that he goes under, drop down your speed a notch and keep him in your sites....that way you can get off the seventh shot.

Once you get the hang of this you will have an entire fleet of ships. It isn't that bad, just takes some practice. Worst part is just getting used to steering.

Also to add in what Adventure stated, I found SW, NW, NE, SE to be the best order to go.

mad, your tips would work IF my computer wasn't possessed my the yeti, AND the evil pirate kraken. the moment i hit the first idol, a kraken pops up behind me before i get a chance to move! what does level 3 get you anyways? the middle of the ship? or is it the front of a second ship?

wow.................. i'm reading through past posts and i didn't realize that you could shoot the kraken. the whole time i was thinking: "well i'm defensless, and i have these cannons that are just taking up space on my boat."
